The house is part of Gerber’s partnership with EPCON communities, and is a unique “zero-energy ready” home, equipped with solar panels for sustainable living. The house is also equipped with a SMART HVAC system and adjusts the temperature depending on which room residents are in. It’s the same way for the lights – if the homeowner forgets to turn out a light and it doesn’t detect you are in the room, it will automatically turn the light off for you. By creating SMART homes, Gerber and EPCON are allowing for financial freedom and an eco-friendly lifestyle.
