The Oconee County Parks and Recreation Department, through a coordinated effort, seeks to enrich the quality of life of the citizens we serve, by providing safe and accessible recreational facilities and a diversified program of recreational activities for all citizens.

GENERAL INFORMATION Registration begins Monday, July 16
All activities will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Most of our activities have limited enrollment, so register early! There are 2 easy ways for you to enroll: 1. Register online. Go to www.oconeecounty.com/ocprd then click “Registration,” or 2. Come by Oconee Veterans Park, Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Security Policy Your payment and personal information is safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address so that it cannot be read over the Internet.
Registration Process
Payment Payee will be responsible for paying debit/credit card convenience fees. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express payments. You may also pay by check or money order. Cash not accepted.
Out of County Out of County residents will pay 150% of program fee.
Refund Policy No refunds or credits will be granted unless requested at least 7 days before the session, program draft or league begins. If request is made 7 days prior to the start date, you will have two options: (1) Receive an immediate credit for the full amount valid for 12 months or (2) Receive a refund, minus a 25% administration fee. Registration convenience fees are non-refundable.
We are pleased to offer our residents a way to register and pay for programs using CommunityPass, our online registration service. You can register for programs 24/7 on a secure site. Registration will still be available in house during office hours at Oconee Veterans Park and Herman C. Michael Park. Step 1 Go to https://register.communitypass.net/OconeeCounty Step 2 Click on “Create an Account for Your Family Now!” Complete the family account form by filling in your information and clicking on “continue” until you finish your account setup. Your family account is now set up. Clicking “finish” will return you to the Community Pass homepage. Once your account is created you will receive an email that contains your login information. Be sure to keep this email in a safe place so that you can continue to enjoy convenience of online registration. Step 3 Sign into your account and click “Register Now” and follow instructions. Log into your account at www.oconeelittleleague.com where your account will be opened at the “Register” tab. All participants associated with this account will be listed with a sentence stating “There are X number of new programs available” where you click the “Register Now” button to see the available programs and begin registering your child(ren). If you need to add a child simply click “Add Participant” under the Register tab and follow the prompts for their registration.

RECREATIONAL ADVANCED DEVELOPMENT (RAD) SOCCER Program Coordinator: Pat Sebring Email: psebring@oconee.ga.us This program is open to boys and girls and designed to provide enhanced skills development through instructional drills (dribbling, shooting, receiving, and gamesmanship). Licensed coaches will teach each player the mechanics of the game through individual drills and small sided games. This is a supplemental program to our recreational soccer league. Participants should still register for the recreation soccer league to be on a team for game play.

Put your team together and sign up to participate in a 6-week regular season CoRec Team Sports program for high school students in Oconee County. Each week teams will participate in a different team sport. Sports to be played this fall include dodgeball, kickball, beach volleyball, soccer, flag football, indoor volleyball, and ultimate frisbee. Each team must have at least three (3) females on roster to compete. • • • •
No Team Entry Fee. Twelve (12) team spots available in the league (first come, first serve basis). Team roster sizes are limited to 12 players including 3 females. Jerseys will be provided.

We are excited to host After School in the schools!
All day camps are offered to Oconee County students on select days when school is not in session. Snacks are provided but participants must bring a sack lunch. The day is filled with activities and games to keep the participants engaged. Registration is held online and students must be pre-registered in order to attend the camp.

ADULT PROGRAMS YOGA Program Coordinator: Pat Sebring Email: psebring@oconee.ga.us HATHA YOGA A mind/body practice of relaxation and rejuvenation using awareness, breath and movement to bring balance to the systems of the body. Yoga helps to increase flexibility and tone muscles while decreasing tension and relieving stress. This is the perfect class for beginners as well as those with some experience in yoga. Fitness Center
Indoor Track and Gymnasium The indoor track and gymnasium at Oconee Veterans Park Community Center requires an annual membership fee for use. Members must be Oconee County residents. Please check our website for the current open gymnasium calendar or call the Open Gymnasium Hotline at 706-769-3970.

(Ages 14 and up) The Fitness Center features a wide array of state of the art cardiovascular and weight equipment including single and multi-station trainers. We offer FREE WiFi in our Fitness Center. Fitness memberships are required for the exercise facility. Patrons ages 14-15 require adult supervision.

Open Gymnasium ONLY Membership (Ages 12 and 13) This membership allows use of the gym during open gym hours. Children under 12 do not require a pass but must be accompanied by a member with a pass. Fee for membership card is $5 per person/year (12-59 years old). No fee for 60 years and older.
Walking Trails All of our parks have walking trails for everyone to enjoy. Herman C. Michael, Bogart Sports Complex and Oconee Veterans Park have paved walking paths. Trails at Heritage Park are open for seasoned hikers, mountain bike riders and/or horseback riders. Check our website for trail maps.
