All activities will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Most of our activities have limited enrollment, so register early! There are 2 easy ways for you to enroll: 1. Register online. Go to www.oconeecounty.com/ocprd then click “Register,” or 2. Come by Oconee Veterans Park, Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Security Policy Your payment and personal information is safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address so that it cannot be read over the Internet.

Payment Payee will be responsible for paying debit/credit card convenience fees. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express payments. You may also pay by check or money order. Cash not accepted.
Out of County
No refunds or credits will be granted unless requested at least 7 days before the session, program draft or league begins. If request is made 7 days prior to the start date, you will have two options: (1) Receive an immediate credit for the full amount valid for 12 months or (2) Receive a refund, minus a 25% administration fee. Registration convenience fees are non-refundable.

Inclement Weather/Rain out Policy Cancellations due to weather on weeknights will generally not be made until 4 p.m. We will make every reasonable effort to contact head coaches/team managers with cancellation information and coaches/team managers will contact parents/players.

PARENT REQUIREMENT PAYS Coordinator: Joan Postero Email: jpostero@oconee.ga.us In order for a child to participate in any competitive youth activity, at least one parent must be a current member of the Parents Association of Youth Sports (PAYS). To fulfill this requirement follow the steps below: 1. Go to https://www.nays.org/paysonline/how-it-works.cfm and click “Get Started” 2. Contact Information: Complete contact info, then click “Next” 3. Select League/Agency Affiliation: Click “Yes”, select “Oconee County Pks & Rec Dept” and then click “Next” 4. VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED OCPRD relies on the commitment of hundreds of volunteers to ensure our youth athletic programs are successful season to season. From the basketball court to the soccer field, you can make a difference in the Oconee County community.

After School in the Schools Looking for a fun and exciting opportunity for your child to participate in once classes have concluded for the day? The After School Program is perfect for your kids! In a safe and secure environment, the After School Program provides traditional and nontraditional games, activities, arts and crafts, study program, and enjoyable special events! A daily snack is provided to all participants. Participants must attend Dove Creek Elementary, High Shoals Elementary, or Rocky Branch Elementary to attend. Registration and payments are online only. All Day Camps All Day Camps are offered to Oconee County elementary students to attend on select days when school is not in session. Participants will experience a day full of games and activities, arts and crafts, and special events! Snacks are provided but participants must bring a sack lunch. Students must be pre-registered in order to attend the camp. HATHA YOGA Certified Yoga Instructor: Celia Brooks A mind/body practice of relaxation and rejuvenation using awareness, breath and movement to bring balance to the systems of the body. Yoga helps to increase flexibility and tone muscles while decreasing tension and relieving stress. This is the perfect class for beginners as well as those with some experience in yoga. Participants should provide their own yoga mat and 1-2 firm blankets.

Fitness Center
Indoor Track and Gymnasium The indoor track and gymnasium at Oconee Veterans Park Community Center requires an annual membership fee for use. Members must be Oconee County residents. Please check our website for the current open gymnasium calendar or call 706-769-3965; select option 3.
Open Gymnasium ONLY Membership (Ages 12 and 13) Membership is for Oconee County residents ages 12 – 13 years old. Allows use of the gym during open gym hours. Children under 12 do not require a membership but must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian with a current membership.
(Ages 14 and up) The Fitness Center features a wide array of state of the art cardiovascular and weight equipment including single and multi-station trainers. We offer FREE WiFi in our Fitness Center. Fitness memberships are for Oconee County residents ages 14 and up and required for use of the exercise equipment and facility. Members ages 14-15 require adult supervision.

Walking Trails All of our parks have walking trails for everyone to enjoy. Herman C. Michael, Bogart Sports Complex and Oconee Veterans Park have paved walking paths. Trails at Heritage Park are open for seasoned hikers, mountain bike riders and/or horseback riders. Check our website for trail maps.
