Jurnatan Office + Convention Center
Semarang, Indonesia Architectural Studio 4 | 2020 Supervisor : Prof. Dr. Ir. Erni Setyowati, MT.
This development that occurred 10 years between 2010-2020 has implications for changes in the use and use of space. It must be admitted how difficult it is to provide space requirements to support the function of a metropolitan city as a center for economic, trade and service activities. Space requirements for the construction of office buildings, residential units and other facilities that require a large area of land. In addition, the local government’s efforts to improve infrastructure to support various activities within the city of Semarang are also increasingly limiting the available land area.

The land area of ± 7196.94m2 in the Bubakan area, Semarang is raised by 1 meter of land. This is to anticipate an emergency situation in the event of a flood disaster because the land is in an area prone to rob which often occurs during the rainy season. The basic form of the building is designed to extend east-west in order to minimize exposure to the morning and evening sun which can burden energy for the building’s air conditioning system.
The masses are placed according to their position based on the order of the presence of the entrance by placing the mass of the rental office closest to the entrance compared to the convention center which is used when there are only certain events. The facade of the building is processed to get a view of the Bubakan Roundabout. Then the office mass is designed with a hole in the middle to optimize natural lighting in the office workspace area and able to cool the building naturally. Layout of landscapes and green areas in the area around the building to provide an area for rainwater to re-enter the ground. Rainwater can also be used as an additional water requirement with the Rainwater Harvesting System method.

New Poncol Station
New Poncol Station
Semarang, Indonesia Architectural Final Project | 2021 Supervisor : Dr. Ir. Eddy Prianto, CES. DEA
With a population of 1,814,110 people in 2019 with a population growth rate of 1.57% per year, it will also encourage an increase in the need for transportation capacity. Poncol Train Station is one of the Large Class Train Stations in the city of Semarang where the station is one of the transit nodes and also the “pulse” of the movement of people and goods which are very vital to the economy in the city of Semarang.
However, looking at the future, the capacity of the Poncol Train Station can no longer accommodate the surge in passengers which continues to increase every year. In addition to the inadequate condition of the occupancy capacity of the future surge in passengers, the Poncol Train Station is one of the objects of the Cultural Heritage Building which is rich in historical value.

Ngesrep Healthcare Center
Ngesrep Healthcare Center
Semarang, Indonesia Architectural Design Studio 2 | 2019 Supervisor : Ir. Hermin Werdiningsih, MT.
Health is permanently a priority for everyone. Healthcare Center takes an important role as part of this modern society. The healthcare system should always be seamless, enjoyable, and easy to access. Unfortunately, not every healthcare center are designed the same. In this case, Puskesmas Ngesrep was one of the oldest Healthcare center in Semarang. It was designed for the capacity of the patient during that time (circa 1990s).
It appears so trivial to nowadays demands, in which modernization of the healthcare system. The Healthcare center floor layout seems to be unorganized and confusing the visitor/patient that went to spend their health check-up time. It is an important issue for a healthcare center as recognized as Puskesmas Ngesrep.

Rebranding the healthcare center was the central goal of the entire concept. Refreshing how people give an assumption of the image of the entire healthcare center in this country.

The development of urbanization trends is one of the popular phenomena that occurs in every city in Indonesia, especially the city of Semarang. With a population of 1,814,110 people in 2019 with a population growth rate of 1.57% per year, it will also encourage an increase in the need for land availability for residential land. Soil is one of the important natural resources for human life because it is needed in every human activity such as agriculture, industry, settlements, and so on. In other words, it is said that land has direct and indirect dual uses. The relatively constant availability of land will become a frightening commodity, even though the population in Indonesia continues to grow.
Changes in the function of agricultural land have changed rapidly and massively. Kusumawati said that the industrial sector took over the agricultural sector, the higher the conversion of agricultural land, the higher the land languishing. Settlement that extends to several villages causes fertile agricultural land to no longer produce food to meet the needs of the community. Along with the obstacles to converting agricultural land into settlements, it is also necessary to pay attention to the issue of backlog or the imbalance of the number of households with the number of dwellings in Central Java, especially in the city of Semarang. Currently, there are still 720,000 backlogs in terms of ownership and 530,000 in terms of occupancy spread across a number of regencies/cities in Central

As one of the most popular points in the Old City of Semarang, Hoogen dorp straat, which is now better known as Jalan Kepodang, presents various kinds of art deco architecture from the Dutch Colonial era. The idea to bring the crowd back to Jalan Kepodang, which was once famous as a business and trade district, is the main focus of this design.
The condition of the existing buildings, most of which have been damaged and destroyed, makes revitalization the main solution in the design of this creative hub. The process of adaptation to the old buildings that are still standing needs to be considered so as not to eliminate the historical value contained on each side of the building. This revitalization process also adds a new building mass element to become the focal point of the design, namely placemaking.

: Competition Entry According to UNESCO, in 2011 the Indonesian reading index was at a value of 0.001. Which means only 1 in 1000 people who like to read. This is very concerning, and of course the spirit of literacy must be grown again. Therefore, Rumpiuk Present as a media that triggers increased interest and reading culture.
Located in Lumintang Park, the target users for Rumpiuk are childrens who play there. An attractive building, combined with types of Local Culture & Basic knowledge books, Rumpiak will later become the embryo of children who love to read

Competition The existing condition of the land is contoured and there is a river next to it.
Mass arrangement according to zoning takes into account the condition of vegetation around the land. The placement of the masses is influenced by the direction of the view you want to get.
The addition of the deck as a response to the unique topography of the land on the south side can be used to increase the point of view of the view towards the river.
The mass of the building follows the existing state of the surrounding vegetation so that the building looks dynamic and blends with the environment.
Landscape arrangement in the middle area. This middle area is the embodiment of the concept of “Natah” which is the center of the design orientation, namely gathering or in Balinese “Rumpiuk”.
