What’s Next • Communications and Marketing working on plan to rebrand and update content with correct name. We will notify you of any major changes. • Continue reviewing your pages for up-to-date content. • New INTRATNET (internal site) planned. While reviewing your pages keep a list of pages that belong on INTRANET and not on .edu (public site).
New Web Server • Cloud base vendor identified for web server. Moving forward with legal and security to approve vendor. • Due to server service having to change the launch date of the site re-design will be delayed. (Will have a better idea of new site launch date as soon as cloud service is setup) • OU 10 training sessions scheduled through November 2015.
Web Redesign What’s Next • Vision Point sent files to Omni Update - conference call with Omni Update will all questions answered. Waiting on cloud service to create DEV site for Omni Update to push out the new site. • Omni Update to implement files for the new gru.edu web site in OU Campus 10. Date to review the new design in OU 10 will depend on when we move to cloud hosting. • New site launch will be delayed due to the hosting move and name change.
Web Governance • WAC membership to be approved. • WAC approval and endorsement of 1-year plan and first 90-day plan • Web Management Team to unveil Roles, Responsibilities and Relationships • Web Management Team to identify and define the web units (Unit Leaders, Content Owners and Contributors) • Meet with Unit Leaders to present Web Governance Plan
Web Governance 1 Year Plan • The vision for the gru.edu web site for the next 12 months would be that the web redesign has launched and all site units are working in OU Campus 10. That work on individual College sites has begun with guidance on site architecture, content and design for each college. • Unit roles will be clearly defined and assigned. • All rules will be documented and published on the site so all role players will have access and can utilize them. A review structure will be developed, identifying what people and performance indicators will be tracked, how they will be measured and how often and who is responsible for tracking them.
Web Governance 90 day Plan • WAC Membership approved • 1 Year Plan approved • Web Management Team (WMT) to unveil Roles, Responsibilities and Relationships for critical DCM members. • WMT to identify and define the Units and schedule a meeting to explain roles and present the Web Governance process (Unit Leaders, Content Owners and Content Contributors)

• Content Contributor: Creates content related to their expertise. May have access to OU 10.
• Content Editor: Reviews and edits content for grammar, standards and voice. May have access to OU 10.

Program pages What will be needed? • Online form to input information about each program • Each academic program will need to have a page with information about that program. • We will need an image to represent the program (this can be students or something that represents the program). • List of careers this program would prepare students to enter. • Graduate Schools or programs that may be options with this program. • Degree Offerings. • Organizations related to this program • Program objectives. • 2 to 3 student highlights that focuses on students within the program.
