Talk Admissions Up As a member of the GRU family, you already know about the superior academic quality, world-class faculty, and growing student support services that define Georgia Regents University. After all, you are what make us extraordinary. That’s why we are calling on you to TALK US UP! Great things are happening here—in teaching, student research, community partnerships, and athletics. Even more important is our continual growth in academic enrichment through the Honors Program, Center for Undergraduate Research and Scholarship, and Study Abroad. But while our history is deep and our roots are sound, many students don’t know about Georgia Regents University and what we have to offer. Who better to tell our story than you? Ways Faculty and Staff can help: Volunteer to present on your area of specialty at high schools and two-year colleges around the state as well as professional organizations, churches, or civic groups. Spread the word to your students and former students and help build the excitement of the next Great American University. Encourage students to start here and finish here at GRU. Campus Tours are Key! Make sure to welcome visitors as you see them on campus or even volunteer to meet with students as part of the admissions process. Students often chose a university because it “feels right.” A friendly hello or quick conversation can go a long way. Let Admissions know how we can help you. For more information or to let us know how you would like to get involved, contact Scott Argo at sargo@gru.edu or any member of the Admissions Recruitment team in the Office of Academic Admissions. And don’t forget to TALK US UP!

The Banner consolidation is well under way, but not yet finalized. We will be near our final transition phase into GRU Banner in the next few months. We have created informational documents on our homepage which will keep you up to date on which functions to perform in which system. Summer Registration will occur in respective Banner systems (ASU, GHSU, ELROY, and PULSE) and Fall Registration and processing will move forward into GRU Banner. In an attempt to increase our communication, we have created a Registrar’s Office Facebook.
