INTRODUCTION Graphic design is a profession whose business is to conceive, plan, design and create visual communications, generally produced by industrial means and intended to convey specific social groups and with clear and specific goals messages. This activity enables graphically communicate ideas, facts and values processed and synthesized in terms of form and communication, social, cultural, economic, aesthetic and technological factors. A carving is a work of sculpture, especially wood. The final product can range from a single sculpture to hand-crafted decorative elements that are part of a tracery.
THE TIPOGRAPHIC Typography was
a
reaction
against
the
perceived
decadence
of typography and design of the late 19th century. It is mostly associated with the works of Jan Tschichold and Bauhaus typographers Herbert Bayer, László Moholy-Nagy, El Lissitzky and others. Modern typography reflected a modern, universal method of communication. This design concept assumes passive, almost automatic subconscious
visual
experience.
It
counts
on rationality of
both,
graphic
designer/producer of the message and the audience that is receiving the message. The Modern typography states as its first objective to develop its visible form out of the functions of the text. For modernist designers it is essential to give pure and direct expression to the contents of whatever is printed: “Just as in the works of technology and nature, ‘form’ must be created out of function.
GOLDEN SECTION The rule or golden section is a ratio measures. It is the harmonic division of a line into extreme and mean ratio. This refers to the smaller segment is the largest segment, since this is to the entire line. SERIGRAPH/ WOOD CARVING. A carving is a work of sculpture, especially in madera. The wood is carved through a process of wear and polished, with the purpose of giving a shape, which can be a concrete or abstract object. The final product can range from a single sculpture to hand-crafted decorative elements that are part of a tracery.

CONCLUSION The golden section shows a number that arises from the division into two, segment by keeping the following proportions: The total length a + b is the longest segment as a is the shortest segment b. which is the value of the golden ratio and is the ratio or proportion between line segments equivalent to the ratio a / b.
