Each of our camps has different features, but the same commitment to helping girls experience the best of what Girl Scouting has to offer. All camps offer the opportunity for your Girl Scout to earn badges along the way!

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood in the foothills, this beloved day camp brings Girl Scouts close to nature while taking part in both traditional and innovative programs.

MARIPOSA DAY CAMP

Mariposa, located in Altadena, offers unique, themed weeks from which girls can choose. Girls participate in new and traditional Girl Scouts activities while making new friends, developing self-esteem, and making lasting memories. Every week, girls will enjoy our gaga court (a kinder, gentler version of dodgeball), low-ropes challenge course, “STEAM lab” science activities, and “kids’ kitchen” cooking activities. The themes for each week provide additional experiences for the campers.

Campers entering grades 4–6 will participate in more elaborate arts and craft projects, advanced team building, gaga competitions, and more.

Campers entering grades 7-8 will experience an enhanced girl-led program, including building their leadership skills and exploring what it means to be a program aide (our older girl leadership experience—p. 12), participating in more elaborate arts and craft projects, advanced team building, gaga competitions, and more.

Grades K–6, $235 Hard work, humility, and most importantly, FRIENDSHIP! We’ll kick off our camp season by teaching life lessons with the aid of characters and plotlines through anime! :3

Dancin’ Through the Decades June 13-17

Grades K–6 | $235 Boogie, swing, and cha-cha through the week with music from different decades. Learn how to choreograph, design costumes, and feel like a star! Please join us for a live-streamed performance on Friday to get a blast from the past.

Star Station: Mariposa June 20-24

Grades K–6, $235 Join us as we design Star Station: Mariposa, the first space station designed by Girl Scouts. With a little help from visiting astronomy experts, we will create our very own space pods, explore rocket science, and look for alien life!

Mariposa Rangers June 27-July 1

Grades K–6, $235 Are you ready for an adventure? Join us as we discover the great outdoors and learn survival skills like orienteering, outdoor cooking, and knot tying. Campers will explore local wildlife and learn what it takes to be a Mariposa Ranger!

The Girl, The Myth, The Legend! July 5-8

Grades K–6, $188 Open your eyes and ears to myths, rhymes, and fairytales, new and old, from around the world and through the centuries. Learn what it takes to create your own time-tested story and come dressed as your favorite mythological creature on Friday!

Grades K–6, $235 Flip to a new page of fun this summer! Explore the adventures of Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Alice and Wonderland, and more. Learn how to write your own story and illustrate your own adventure. Come dressed up as your favorite literary character on Friday!

Paint, Play, Create! July 18-22

Grades K–6, $235 Do you doodle? Can you paint? Come create your own masterpiece! Learn the basics of printmaking, photography, sculpture, and build your artist’s portfolio! Juniors will participate in a paint war on Wednesday.

Mariposa Olympics July 25-29

Grades K–6, $235 The summer games are on! Anyone can bring home a medal in this friendly competition amongst our units. From an ultimate gaga tournament to an obstacle course, the competition is heating up!

Rockets, Robots, and More August 1-5

Grades K–6, $235 Love to tinker? This engineering week is just for you! Join us as we make step rockets, build toothbrush bots, and explore all things STEAM in this week of engineering adventure.

Girl Scouts discover the outdoors in their own backyard while they play games, challenge themselves, and make friends at this popular day camp.

EL RANCHITO DAY CAMP

Located in Long Beach, El Ranchito offers an exciting adventure every week! At this beautiful treefilled, park-like day camp, girls are grouped by grade level and separated into designated shaded areas throughout camp. Girls explore traditional Girl Scout activities such as games, arts & crafts, songs, interacting with nature, making new friends, and earning badges. El Ranchito is home to many exciting elements, including an archery range, gaga court (a kinder and gentler version of dodgeball), challenge course, and a 32-foot-tall climbing wall. All campers can enjoy the gaga court and low-ropes challenge course. Campers entering grades 2–6 can participate in archery and the climbing wall. These activities, STEAM programming, and outdoor cooking, are available every week of camp. (Note: Due to safety activity guidelines from Girl Scouts of the USA, kindergarten and first-grade campers are unable to participate in climbing and archery, but have their own safe, age-appropriate activities, including water balloon slingshot practice and more intensive challenge course activities.)

Campers entering grades 7-8 will experience an enhanced girl-led program, including building their leadership skills and exploring what it means to be a program aide (our older girl leadership experience), participating in more elaborate arts & crafts projects, hiking through Hartwell Park, advanced team building, gaga competitions, and more. Special weeks will offer an evening dinner and a campfire program for campers.

Grades K–3, $235 Grades 4–6, $245 (Wed. evening program) This week is sure to be Animal-TASTIC! Learn about different animals and their habitats. Become one with nature as we learn to live and survive in the wild.

El Ranchito Theater Company June 20-24

Grades K–6, $235 Calling all thespians and campers alike! Create exciting props, develop stage presence, and play improv games as we prepare for this week’s camp performance.

3,2,1 Blast Off June 27 - July 1

Grades K–3, $235 Grades 4–6, $245 (Wed. evening program) Blast into camp as we learn about famous women in STEAM. Launch rockets, explore star constellations, and cook using solar ovens during this stellar week of camp.

Ready, Set, Splash July 5-8

Grades K–6, $188 Celebrate famous women in sports during this athletic week. Learn about different sports and add a water twist to them. Let’s get active!

El Ranchito Survivor Extreme July 11-15

Grades K–3, $235 Grades 4–6, $245 (Wed. evening program) It’s time for our annual El Ranchito Survivor week! Face off in a week of friendly, spirited competitions, test your outdoor survival skills, and participate in the much-loved Kick Ball Tournament. Which tribe will join our Legacy Winners Circle?

A Yummy Investigation July 25-29

Grades K–3, $235 Grades 4–6, $245 (Wed. evening program) Oh No! The key to the snack cabinets is missing. Search for clues and help us crack the case of the missing key! Explore different outdoor cooking methods while we unlock this mystery.

In Living Color August 1-5

Grades K–6, $235 Art is all around you! Channel your creative side as you create art with nature, explore colors with oil pastels, and capture the moment using photography.

Camp Forever August 8-12

Grades K–6, $235 Our last week of camp is focused on the highlights of summer 2022. We are bringing back all of our favorite activities! Experience all of the fun in our final week together, from dance-offs and outdoor cooking to survivor relays.

Spending summer at the beach is a Southern California tradition, and Girl Scouts join in on the fun through exciting aquatic activities at this unique waterfront camp.

• Canoe and kayak basics— body position, strokes, and boat parts • Capsize recoveries (a Marine Landing favorite!) •Increase balance and strength on stand-up paddleboards •Build kayak skills through extended excursions •Canoe rescue and recovery techniques

MARINERS CAMP Grades 4–8

Marine Landing offers a waterfront camp experience like no other. Located in Long Beach, Marine Landing offers unique programming that focuses on paddle sports, marine science, and Girl Scout traditions. The calm waters of Alamitos Bay offer the perfect location for beginning paddlers to learn new skills and an expansive landscape for expert mariners to seek new challenges. Each themed week includes daily boating and free swim time.

Monday Swim Evaluation

Every Monday, campers go through water safety orientation, including proper boat safety, and are required to participate in a swim evaluation. All swimming abilities may participate in all camp programming. Life vests are mandatory while boating and are available for swimming.

Our Staff

Our entire staff is lifeguard certified and attends mandatory training to help give your Girl Scout the confidence and skills to become an expert paddler. Our staff are the experts when it comes to making sure each camper has a safe space to try new things and build friendships that last a lifetime.

Grades K-8, $250 (Thursday Evening Program for Grades 4-8) Last year Team Australia was victorious in our Olympic week—will your country be the champion this summer? From the classic synchronized swimming event to all-camp relays, the competition this year will be unforgettable!

Discovering Diagon Alley June 20-24

Grades K-8, $250 All houses need to prep for the Fall Semester at Hogwarts, right? We will be making our own Diagon Alley storefronts right on our very own camp. Create your own magical products, spells, or charms to sell at our Friday craft faire!

Beach Camp is S’more Fun! June 27-July 1

Grades K-8, $250 (Thursday Evening Program for Grades 4-8) Love singing camp songs, cooking over a fire, and putting up tents? Join us for a week of fun in the sand as we test out our Girl Scout outdoor camping skills right on our very own beach. Get ready for shelter building & campfire stories brought to you by… YOU

GS Jungle Cruise July 5-8

Grades K-8, $200 Join our expedition to the Amazon Jungle! We will be working on our new outdoor nature badges to prepare for adventurefilled days and canoe races. Put on your safari hat, grab your homemade binoculars, and paddle upriver with us!

Moonbeams and Space Dreams July 11-15

Grades K-8, $250 (Thursday Evening Program for Grades 4-8) On an ocean-bound planet, far, far away… girls ruled the world and swam ALL DAY! Even though camp happens during daylight, we will spend our days among the stars—learning about rockets, making constellation maps, and exploring galaxies. Grades K-8, $250 Are you ready for a rootin’ tootin’ good time? Lasso over to Marine Landing where gold panning experts are in high demand because we just discovered GOLD on our property! We will travel back in time to when butter was churned by hand and line dancing reigned supreme.

The Mystery of Marine Manor July 25-29

Grades K-8, $250 (Thursday Evening Program for Grades 4-8) Legend says, a friendly spirit walks the beach of Marine Landing at night. Camp has transformed into a haunted mansion full of clues and we are here to do some real detective work! Can you help us solve the mystery of Marine Manor?

Marine Landing Spa Retreat Aug. 1-5

Grades K-8, $250 Need a little decluttering in your life? Come for a week away by the sea to clear your mind and strengthen your soul. We will focus on our outside selves through skin care and animal yoga and practice positive mental wellness to find our inner strength.

Marine Landing Powwow Aug. 8-12

Grades K-8, $250 A Powwow is a social gathering of differing cultures — this week we are celebrating the cultures native to California through their art! Hop in your outrigger canoe and learn how to make Chumash pottery and practice the art of Tongva storytelling.
