Earn your service hours with Girl Scouts. Guide and inspire girls in the community as they embrace new challenges, build important life skills and take the lead – all in a safe, no-limits place designed just for her. Reach your full potential as you help her discover hers, and together, change the world! Girl Scouts has volunteer opportunities that meet the busiest schedules and will help build your résumé.

Need a few service hours? Assist at local Girl Scout Information Nights and earn 2 hours per information night. What do you actually do? • Run pre-planned kid activities • Assist with set-up and clean-up • Take on the sales role with experience What majors are a good match? • Marketing • Education • Public Relations • Social Work • Psychology

Want to build your résumé and gain practical experience? Serve as part of a troop leadership team* and get practical knowledge of, and exposure to, local schools. Earn 18 hours per semester. What do you actually do? • Serve as a mentor for girls in schools where Girl Scouts doesn’t currently exist • Prepare and execute at least 6 troop meetings utilizing online troop meeting plans • Recruit and organize others to assist you What majors are a good match? • Education • Social Work • Psychology *Great activity to do with a friend or your Big/Little sister.
