Entrepreneurial programs, such as Sweets and Treats Fall Program and the Cookie Program lay the groundwork for developing five essential skills: Money Management, Business Ethics, People Skills, Marketing, and Goal Setting. These skills are not just vital for the program but are crucial life skills that Girl Scouts can use in various aspects of their lives.

Participation in the Cookie Program also allows Juliette Girl Scouts to earn Program Credits, which can be used to purchase items from the GS Shop, go on field trips, attend camps and more-enriching their overall Girl Scout experience.

Ultimately, by participating in the Entrepreneurial Program, girls learn the value of work ethic and understand how to earn their way, fostering a sense of independence and responsibility.

Our Community Product Managers (CPM) are the Juliette mentors for our product programs. They will place planned orders, enter transfers, and enter rewards into our online product portals. Caregivers will pick up Juliette paperwork, products and rewards from these volunteers while participating in either product program. CPMs are your first point of contact.

Caregivers can find contact information for Gateway Council CPM’s here. Reach out to the mentor in your community to let them know your Juliette Girl Scout is ready to participate!

Schedule a time with your CPM to pick up your paperwork packet. The packet includes important information and materials required for cookie season.

⚬ Sign and return the Girl Participation Form and the Troop Product Manager Form, so your Juliette can participate in the Product Program.

⚬ Double check your physical address, email, phone number, membership and background are current.

⚬ Juliette caregivers and girls will have access to the girl site in Digital Cookie.

⚬ When the Juliette needs to order more cookies.

⚬ Juliette and caregiver’s availability for cookie booths and how many you would like to participate in for the year.

Initial Orders

The initial order deadline to your CPM is January 4th, 2025. This allows CPMs to submit orders by the deadline for the entire Juliette troop.

Orders must be placed in full cases. Once an order is placed, your Juliette is responsible for selling the case. There are no returns and/or refunds available.

Your CPM will let caregivers know when to pick up the initial order. Your CPM may request caregivers to pick up initial order at one of the Mega Drop locations (February 7th and 8th,) or an alternate location.

Juliettes qualify for the initial order incentive when they place an initial

Payment for Cookies

⚬ Credit Card - By using the cookies in hand feature in Digital Cookie. Payments will automatically be credited to your Juliette’s cookie account.

⚬ Bank Deposit - Bank deposit slips are available from your CPM to deposit cash directly into the Truist Bank account. Take a picture of the bank receipt and send to your CPM to get the payment credited to your cookie account. We cannot credit your cookie account without a picture of the bank receipt.

Juliettes follow the ACH schedule for payment:

02/18/2025 – 30% of total balance due to council

03/04/2025 – 60% of total balance due to council

03/18/2025 – 100% of total balance due to council.

Juliettes must pay their first 30% deposit before getting additional cookies from the cupboards.

Planned Orders

If Juliettes need additional cookies after initial order, reach out to you CPM.

Before placing an additional planned order, your cookie payment account must be current.

All additional cookie orders must be placed in cases. Please note, the availability of varieties and quantities may vary by cupboard and not all varieties will be available at every location. The Gluten-Free Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies will not be available in any cupboard.

There are no returns for cookies purchased from council, however, you may transfer cookies to another troop. Please contact your CPM to help facilitate a transfer.

Digital Cookie

Digital Cookie is your Juliette’s personal online storefront for cookies! The features in Digital Cookie make selling cookies a fun, universal experience and allows Girl Scouts to expand their business.

If you have contacted your CPM, signed your participation paperwork, and your Juliette has a 2025 membership, you will receive an email with a link for access to Digital Cookie on December 5th. The email will be delivered to the caregiver email on file at the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council office.

Attend the Digital Cookie Live Virtual Deep Dive for Caregivers to discover all the features available to Girl Scouts and Caregivers. December 12, 2024 7:30 PM ET/6:30 PM CT

Safety Resources

Girl Scouts and their caregivers must read, agree to, and abide by the guidelines in the Online Safety Pledge before engaging in online marketing and sales efforts through the Girl Scout Cookie Program. The guidelines and pledge are located on our website and in the files on the Cookies, Gateway Rallyhood.

Social Media Policy

Product program participation should always be led by a Girl Scout under caregiver supervision. Families should always use caution when sharing links on public pages. Through Digital Cookie, caregivers can deny any girl delivery orders they do not feel comfortable delivering in person. When posting online follow these guidelines:

Girls may:

⚬ Post their Digital Cookie link on public social media sites, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and You Tube

⚬ Post Cookie Booth location

⚬ Post a video and include their Digital Cookie link

⚬ Ask customers to share their Digital Cookie link with friends and family

Girls may not:

⚬ Post their Digital Cookie link on resale sites, i.e. Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Ebay, or on buy, sell, trade sites such as Swip/Swap and Nextdoor

⚬ Post content including last name or direct contact details. i.e phone number, address, school or email

⚬ Direct message anyone that they do not personally know on social media platforms

Cookie Booths: A Path to Reaching Goals!

Cookie Booths give girls the opportunity to achieve their goals by setting up in high-traffic locations within the community. A Girl Scout Cookie Booth isn’t just a “booth” – it’s the troop’s storefront business.

Cookie Booth Requirements

A Girl Scout wearing Girl Scout attire must be present at the cookie booth.

A registered, background-checked adult must be present at each booth.

The price of cookies must be displayed. No siblings or other non-Girl Scouts should be at the booth. Promote Cookie Share for donations.

Ensure Girl Scouts and the table do not block ATMs or entrances/ exits.

Booth setup and breakdown should occur no more than 5 minutes before the start or end of a booth. Be ready for a quick turnover. Take all empty cases with you- do not leave them in the trash at the booth location.

Always follow the Girl Scout Law!

Need to cancel a Cookie Booth?

If your Juliette is unable to use a reserved booth slot, you must cancel it with your CPM. Claimed booth slots are listed on our National Cookie Finder, and we don’t want customers to show up at empty locations!

Please cancel booths as soon as you know your Juliette can’t attend, so other Juliettes/troops have the opportunity to use the slot.

Care to Share Program

The Care to Share Program is the council’s donation program to help various entities. The Care to Share cost is $6.00 per box. You can collect this money on Digital Cookie or in person. The donated cookies will be distributed at the end of the season from the council’s inventory. Donated cookies that are sold are not taken from your personal cookie inventory. Make sure to let your CPM know how many Care to Share boxes were sold, so that they can be credited in Smart Cookie.

Rewards/Final

Turn in all reward choices (up to the adventure points @ 840 level) to your CPM. If you want the opt-out rewards options for any of the trips, please inform your CPM. Caregiver will receive an email to complete choices for adventure points.

All balances must be paid in full before 03/18/2024.
