2024 - 2025 Annual Program Guide

Enhance your Girl Scout Era with 140+ programs!

Hi, Girl Scouts!

As we embark on the 2024-2025 Girl Scout year, I am thrilled to share the exciting events and programs we have lined up for you. This guide is your key to enhancing your already amazing Girl Scout experience and making the most of your “Girl Scout era.”

What does being in your “Girl Scout era” mean to you? To me, it represents a time of growth, exploration, and forging lifelong friendships. It’s about stepping into new challenges, embracing the unknown, and coming out stronger, more confident, and ready to make the world a better place.

This year, we have an incredible array of opportunities that your girl can enjoy on her own, with fellow Girl Scouts, or with her entire troop. Regardless of how she chooses to attend these programs, I guarantee she will leave with new skills and new Girl Scout friends!

Our programs cover a wide range of interests and skills:

Entrepreneurship: From career exploration to hands-on personal finance experiences, our programs empower our Girl Scouts to become future leaders and savvy entrepreneurs.

Outdoor: From day hikes and camping trips to Aquatics weekends and moonlight paddles, we have so many exciting outdoor opportunities this year allowing Girl Scouts to connect with nature while developing their leadership skills.

STEM: Whether it’s coding, robotics, or even baking cookies (how Girl Scout-y is that?), our STEM programs are designed to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem solvers and help her explore what is possible.

Life Skills: Public speaking, first aid, resume writing, and car maintenance are just a few of the dynamic life skills programs equip that Girl Scouts with the essential tools they need to succeed in everyday situations and beyond.

Finally, at the back of your guide, you’ll find a special section where you can share your appreciation with your Girl Scout leader. Your Girl Scout leader plays such a vital role in the lives of our girls, they are the planners, the budget balancers and one of the other caring adults that will shape her decisions today and into the future and a simple thank you can mean the world to them. I highly encourage you to take a moment to express your gratitude.

Let’s make this Girl Scout era one to remember!

Yours in Girl Scouting,

A word from our CEO
Wendy Dordel

By recognizing that individuals know best what works for them and what doesn’t, Clancy challenges listeners to rethink conventional wisdom about hunger. Her keynotes resonate with a powerful message: to combat hidden hunger effectively, we must listen to and learn from the lived experiences of those we aim to serve. This approach draws attention to the “hunger in the room” and empowers participants to become active agents of change, equipped with the understanding that while we hold knowledge, we are not the experts in someone else’s life.

Ways to Thank Your Leader Year-round

Girl Scout leaders are instrumental in the lives of our Girl Scouts. They instill courage, confidence and character; and guide our girls as they discover their strengths, learn new skills, and develop the values that will help them become tomorrow’s leaders. Their dedication and passion inspire girls to reach their full potential, making a lasting impact on their lives and the communities they serve.

To show appreciation for all that they do, let’s recognize our leaders in meaningful ways throughout the year- not just during Volunteer Appreciation Month in April.

Simple gestures like writing a heartfelt thank you note, creating a small handmade gift, offering to help before, during, or after meetings, or sharing a favorite memory or compliment, are all simple yet thoughtful ways to express our gratitude. These acts of kindness remind our leaders how much they are valued and appreciated for the positive difference they make every day.
