Nominees show courage by pioneering in a nontraditional field, beat extraordinary odds, take up a special cause, or speak the truth even when it’s unpopular.
Confidence
Nominees conduct themselves with self-assurance, strength, grace, and tact without ever crossing the line into arrogance.
Character
Nominees demonstrate moral and ethical strength, show leadership through example, and are consistently known for doing the right thing.
Current Girl Scouts must also be a Cadette level or higher and have completed a Take Action Project as a leader, and earned Bronze Award or higher, Presidential Service Award or Prudential Spirit of Community Award. At least two nominations are required for each honoree.
