Jump-start your troop year with the VTK! The Volunteer Toolkit (VTK) contains program and meeting plans for Daisy through Ambassador and multi-level troops! It takes the guesswork out of planning and prepping for your troop meetings and makes communication and staying organized seamless. To get started, get to know the VTK! The Explore tab lets you either create your own year plan or choose from pre-selected tracks.
With the VTK, you can also:
• Access step-by-step activity guides for each troop meeting—so you’ll know exactly what to say and do
• Easily share troop meeting activities and updates with parents/caregivers for each meeting
• Log girls’ program achievements and milestones
• Add events and your own troop activities
• Find resources tailored just for you . . . and so much more!
What volunteers are saying: “I like that there are meeting plans and schedules to follow. I also like being able to keep track of the badges my girls earn. The ‘my troop’ feature that allows me to email all of the parents at once is great too—I use that a lot.”

Event Registration General Information
Program Activity Credits (PACs) Girls earn PACs by participating in the Fall Nut Program or Girl Scout Cookie Program. They can be used to pay for all or partial event fees. Register online and pay in full, then complete the PAC redemption form online in the Resources section. A reimbursement for the PAC amount will then be issued.
Event Financial Assistance Financial assistance is available to help girl members participate in Girl Scout events. Financial assistance can be considered for one event per season (fall, spring, summer) per girl. To request event financial assistance, select the Financial Aid box during online registration. A Financial Assistance form will be emailed to the family to complete and submit. Financial assistance is funded by proceeds from the Girl Scout Cookie Program and gifts to Girl Scouts.

All attending adults are expected to assist the girl(s) as needed and to ensure appropriate girl behavior.

Believe in the Power of G.I.R.L.
In Girl Scouts, girls prepare for a lifetime of leadership, success, and adventure in a safe, no-limits place designed for and by girls! Girls are inspired to discover their talents and passions in a safe and supportive all-girl setting. Along the way, they’ll gain important skills in four areas that form the foundation of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience:
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Imagine girls taking on some of the biggest challenges and problems our planet faces—and helping solve them. Or having a career that’s engaging and well paid. Research shows that girls are keenly interested in STEM and excel at it. Yet, for a variety of reasons, girls often don’t pursue STEM—starting as early as elementary school. We can change that! Let your girls see that STEM can help them make the world a better place! Girl Scouts who participate in girl-focused STEM programs: • Become better problem-solvers, critical thinkers, and inspirational leaders • Get better grades, earn scholarships, and follow more lucrative career paths • See STEM as the foundation for a meaningful and successful future Did you know? As early as second grade, youth demonstrated the stereotype that “math is for boys, not girls.” By third grade, girls form their STEM identity.
?
By high school, only 11% of girls declare an interest in STEM. At Girl Scouts, we’ll help her see STEM can be the foundation of her successful future!
Outdoors Girl Scouts has a long, storied, and successful history of getting girls outdoors. But studies show that girls today are not spending nearly enough time outdoors. Encourage your girls to create their own outdoor adventures and develop a lifelong appreciation for nature. Because when Girl Scouts get outside, they: • Discover that they can better solve problems and overcome challenges • Develop leadership skills, build social bonds, and are happier overall • Become team players and care more about protecting our environment • Thrive physically, emotionally, and intellectually
gswise.org • 800-565-4475
Life Skills Girl Scout badges, beginning with civic engagement and expanding to healthy living, communication skills, practical skills, and global citizenship, form the foundation of activities that help girls grow as Girl Scouts. Whether it’s by exercising and staying healthy, developing strong relationships with family and peers, advocating on behalf of others, protecting our environment, or exploring careers, girls gain the skills and the inspiration to accept challenges, overcome obstacles, and take the lead.

Our Program
$
The Girl Scout Cookie Program is an important part of the overall Girl Scout experience. As cookie entrepreneurs, girls gain essential life skills and work as a team to accomplish common goals and solve problems. The Girl Scout Cookie Program lets girls show the world their entrepreneurial spirit as key members of the world’s largest girl-led business. And every year Girl Scouts all over the country use their cookie earnings to do amazing things in their communities and beyond.
