AQI-Air Quality Impact It’s Wildfire Season

● AQI at 100+: Students can stay inside during recess; running during recess is discouraged

High AQI might happen with wildfires increasing in the late summer.

● AQI at 150+: If measured at 7:30am: campus closed for the day and distance learning takes place

Measures against COVID-19 and high AQI are mutually exclusive!

What if… Distance Learning ● Classes will go online if any of these conditions are met: ○ Schools in the Mountain View Whisman school district close for in person classes ○ Several school districts in the area close for in person classes ○ AQI is 150+ at 7:30 am ● Teachers will share information about how to log on to class. ● If a student is sick, they should stay home. ● If a student must quarantine/stay home from their regular school/work, they should not attend Saturday School. ● Please contact your teacher if you must stay home. In the case of several students being at home, teachers may offer an online option for that day. That will be teacher’s preference. ● Teachers will provide work to students who miss class for any reason
