Kitchen Lab

This group project idealizes a futuristic place where the personalities of two different working environments are blended together to create new shapes, new trades. The kitchen and the restaurant are the two selected areas, which are opposed to the chemical laboratory. In addition to having imagined the future professions with their respective work clothes, we have also designed the work’s environment: the interior and structure of the Kitchen Lab. At the end of the project we sewed the most representative outfit of our collection.

Cuore in Gola

scraps of fabric tunisian carpets

forged silver

The project was realized in collaboration with SeeMe, jewelry brand that offer the Tunisian women, victims of violence, a new dignity through work. Although it can also be worn by a woman, my project is a male version, because I think that men should be interested and sensitized to the problem of Tunisian women. The project is the marriage between a bow tie, that echoes the heart symbol on forged silver See Me, and scraps of fabric Tunisian carpets which become bow ties or straps to be placed around the neck.

Rispecchio

magnet

Rispecchio, contemporary jewel that goes from ornament to utility object, interprets our needs functionally, immediately and minimally interacting. in three different ways. It interacts with the individual who is wearing it, whom with a simple gesture can reflect himself; it interacts with the people who surround him catching the eye with its reflective surface and its metamorphosis when cast by light; it interact with itself changing every time its length and the design of the chain.

Explanations about the projects

Roller Coaster

Contrarier made out of wax and printed with acrylic colors, the interpretation comes from the structure of roller coaster. In this project I collaborated with Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana in order to learn how model the wax.

Medusa

Amulet created in fimo designed during an university workshop for Torre del Greco.an expert company in the coral processing. Co-Existence Football

This jewellery collection is inspired by two of the most followed sports: soccer for Italy and football for the U.S., because big sport events allow and demonstrate that it is possible to build a culture of reciprocal respect and a world of peace. I have analyzed their differences trying to make them coexist together, and it is from this that jewels based on respect. It is not only made out of materials but also of concepts, thoughts and ways of being of those who wear them.It does not preclude the knowledge and the coexistence with different civilizations than one's own.
