I sigilli Sumeri sono piccoli cilindri in pietra incisa, abitualmente rollati su argilla. Nascono come dispositivi amministrativi e hanno circa cinquemila anni. Sono considerati all’origine del nostro linguaggio, ed esprimono certamente un alfabeto di segni con forte valore metaforico. Siamo convinti che l’armonia di ciò che è umano coinvolga ogni senso, e non solo la vista come in questo caso: grazie a Marco Ceccotto abbiamo quindi provato a sonorizzarli..e qualche anno fa abbiamo presentato il risultato al British Museum. They are born as administrative devices and they are about five thousand years old. They are considered at the origin of our language, and certainly express an alphabet of signs with a strong metaphorical value.
