V+. opportunities and capacity along the edge 2013 Venezia, I Master’s degree thesis The former S.Andrea seaplane base on the Vignole island ranks as one of the largest artificial signs in the Venetian lagoon. The project provides a linear building more than 800 meters long to deal with the edges of the immense figure of the artificial basin and the historic fort of St. Andrew. Strategically, the plan rebuilds the texture of the soil of the island, introducing opportunities related to sport and alternative natural tourism of the lagoon. The project also increases the carrying capacity by inserting a system of residences (temporary and not) ordered on an almost textile patterns, in relation with the new building and the existing island. professor arch. A+V House 2016 Codognè (TV), I private project Project and representation to the client of a Villa in the Prosecco’s countryside. The functional program was huge for a family house. We worked to shrink all the features and add quality to the spaces. We wanted to give hierarchy to the composition, setting a big central volume, characterized by a light and white concrete panels. On the opposite, all the lower served volumes are cladded with dark danish bricks. On the elevations we maintained a gentle relationship with the soil and the garden, modeling the ground to show and hide volumes and sights. We decided to let just the night block volume to raise over the ground to preserve the intimacy and the privacy of the inhabitants. collaboration with arch. Stefano Colin arch. Marco Pivetta

Kindergarten + public spaces 2012 Schluderns (BZ), I public competition The wide program of the competition comprehends a kindergarten, a building for the local band and the design of the central square. The Kindergarten is set in the basement, allowing a natural protection for children`s areas. This operation can free the ground floor, offering some additional space for gardens and public equipment. The public building develops with two upper floor. The building hosts public functions and a rehearsal space for the band. Its shape comes from acoustic needs. collaboration with arch. Hof - horizontal farm 2012 New Delhi, IND competition for urban renewal The chance to redevelop a large area of the city center of New Delhi provides an opportunity to enter into a different level of planning. The big part of the citizens can develop their own neighborhood through an interactive and generative planning. That determines a grid of implementation and a sampling of residences and public functions; the population can interactively partecipate to the project, spontaneously generating their own neighborhood with their own means. collaboration with arch. Daniele Daneluzzi

“Hypergeo” 2012 Portogruaro (VE), I study project Redevelopment of a former chemical factory. The beautiful ruins of the industrial cathedral are located in an area closely connected with the city center and road junctions. The plan considers the factory as a fulcrum, a flywheel, which binds the key points of the territory promotes its development: the agricultural consortium, the public park, the historic center, the bus and the railway station. I also decided to keep the existing building’s roof, stabilizing it, and offering again the opportunity to host a system of public services for the community. professors arch. Domenico Bolla arch. Primary School Extension 2011 Libano (BL), I public competition The project for the extension of Sedico´s elementary involves the construction of four study rooms and a common area. Wood timber construction is the main theme of the project. The section of the building is optimized for a prefabricated production. The shape of the building follows regulator axis, generated by the surrounding buildings and the possible visual glimpses into the valley. collaboration with arch. Alessandro Marinato arch. War museum 2010 Asiago (VI), I study project Proposal for a museum about the first world war, in a parking area on the Asiago plateau. The extensive program for the area (museum, parking, restaurant area and overnight) is held together by the theme of the trench through a system partially or completely underground. This theme also allows to deal with the inclusion of a complex built in a completely natural zone, dealing with the environmental impact and using terrain data to limit the visibility or to open panoramic views. professors arch. Feder café 2009 Stuttgart, DE study project Small building inside the Stuttgart’s fair. The folding theme is developed, through definite folded ribbon forms. The horizontal rhythmic coils, proportioned on the human figure, intend to outline a limited and intimate space. The “objectstand”, with its soft and balanced shapes, perfectly fits within the broader and strict fair building. professor arch. Franca Pittaluga

BW house 2008 Eraclea (VE), I study project The concept of this private house near the Adriatic Sea is based on the interpretation of the Wall houses, developed by John Hejduk in the 70s. In this case, however, the project develops in an independent way, changing the original concept. The wall loses its two-dimensional value: this widens, gets hollowed and becomes part of distribution space. It also includes a shelving for books, in a kind of wall library. At this strong linear sign cling living rooms, such as parasitic superfetations of the conceptual protagonist. professor arch. Gundula Rakowitz

Bruder Klaus Feldkapelle 2010 study model model of the chapel built in 2007 by master architect Peter Zumthor in the countryside of Köln. With this experience I wanted to recreate not the building itself, but the real process conceived for the construction of the chapel. It is indeed the risult of the modelling of a process.

The building of the physical model is absolutely the best way to get an idea of the consistency of the architectural project. The model expresses the quality of space, material and intentions of the project. The models were made in the course of university study, for examination discussions, public displays and personal study. Other models have been commissioned by professional offices or for the end customer. I am really interested to discover materials for the realization and new technologies for 3D production.

I develop views that allow also the customer or citizen who does not belong to the field of architecture to understand the ideas and spaces that the project aims to generate. Some of these views were produced during my studies; many others, particularly of private houses, were commissioned by architectural firms with the intention to present it to the final customer.
