“Setting Stones” follows the so far seven year process of building a Japanese Garden at my home in North Carolina. Original concept sketches for teahouses, planting beds and other elements are collaged in place with East Asian themed images. Text in the journal include notes on design elements, passages from horticultural books, and of course ponderings.
