Join us for The Parables of Lent, a special series of services for the season of Lent. Each service in this series focuses on a biblical parable that connects to Lenten themes. The Ash Wednesday service in the series is based on the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector. In this parable, the tax collector who repents goes home justified, while the proud Pharisee does not. The parable reminds us that we, too, who repent are justified through Christ. The service includes an Imposition of Ashes and the Sacrament of the Altar. Please join this Wednesday at 6pm for dinner served by the LWML, a children’s activity at 6:30 pm and worship at 7pm.

Grace Church Council will meet today following the late service. Pastor’s Sunday morning Bible Class is working through the book of Ephesians! All are welcome to join us.

Pastor is also planning to offer an Adult Instruction Class for those who wish to become members of Grace or simply want to know more about the teachings of the Lutheran Church. This class will take place March 6 & 7. Please let Pastor know if you are planning to attend.

Some of your pictures on our photo board in the Narthex are outdated or missing altogether! Jane and Gorlyn Bronstad will be taking photos of our members and regular attendees every Sunday from today through March 1. If yours is outdated, or we don’t have your picture on the board, come to the Grace Library (on the west end of the Fellowship Hall) after either service to have your picture taken. Grace will have a Spring Cleaning Day on Saturday, March 21st. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.

We have a SMALL number of dedicated volunteers that run our PowerPoint presentations that project the service onto the screen during our worship services. We are looking for some others who will help out. The PowerPoint presentation is created by Pastor during the week. All you need to do is show up and run it during the service. It is easy to do and any training you need will be provided. There is an orange colored sign up sheet on the bulletin board next to the mailboxes. Please consider helping here at Grace in this way.
