GloryBound is Happening This Summer! This is a high school event that will take place July 12-15 in Dallas. If you are interested contact Sarah Pulliam. Those attending GloryBound are asked to help with the Lenten meal on Wednesday, March 7th.

We are in need of Ushers for the month of April. Please contact Lindel Davis if you are able to help. Midweek and Confirmation classes will take a break and resume in April. Join us for the Lenten services instead. During Lent we will be collecting donations for Military Bible Sticks. These are given free of charge to members of the Armed Forces. A sample of a Bible Stick is on display in the Narthex. If you would like to help support this project please make a donation to Grace with a memo for Faith Comes By Hearing. If you have questions please contact Debi Wendorf.

Signs of Lent Like signs we see along the roads that tell us what to do, we see signs along the way on our Lenten journey that show us the way to Christ. In our Lenten worship this Wednesday, we are reminded to merge our lives with long history of the story of salvation that began in the Garden of Eden, continued with the Children of Israel at Passover and is revealed in the sacrifice of the promised Messiah. Next Sunday we will look at what the wrong way signs has to say to us during Lent. A Great Mission Opportunity! There is still much work to be done around the Houston area after the devastating Hurricane Harvey. If you would like to help now is your chance. A group will be leaving for Trinity Lutheran in Klein, TX March 25th and returning March 29th.

If you are older than 14 you are welcome to help. A member of Grace has graciously offered to cover the $20 per day fee for each person attending. If you are interested please contact Josh Velten or Lindel Davis. Here is the website to sign up http://heartfortexas.com/index.php/volunteerorientation/
