The Lutheran Hymn Festival 2016, Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Scripture Alone, Sunday, October 16 at 7:00 p.m. This will be the tenth Lutheran Hymn Festival to be held in Dallas since 1993. This year's festival will feature hymnody from the Lutheran tradition, with an emphasis on next year's 500th anniversary of the Reformation. Many of the hymns were written and composed by Martin Luther. Tickets may be ordered by going to www.lutheranhymnfestival.org. Dear Ladies of Grace, If you are available to join us this week on Wednesday, July 13, we welcome you to participate in our women's Bible study at 11 a.m. We meet to study God's word, Pray and Share and follow with a light, delicious luncheon. This meeting will be devoted to the Mother of Jeremiah. As the Sojourners group is studying Jeremiah, it is fitting to seek out the one person on earth who was the greatest influence on the sorrowful prophet's life. Dear Grace, I can't thank you enough for the generosity, kindness, and support that flowed out from all of you in response to the need in Haiti. Your prayers and donations were such an encouragement to both the group I went with and the people we worked with while there.
