Third Sunday after Pentecost June 14, 2015 We’re glad you’re here! 

Please fill out a Family Registration Card with your Prayer Requests. Pass cards to the center aisle so the ushers can collect them.  Children are welcome in the worship service.

They are invited to the front for a children’s message in the Blended service.  A nursery is provided for children 3 and under during the Sunday School and the Blended Service. The ushers will assist you in finding the nursery.

Grace provides a quarterly devotion book, Portals of Prayer, for anyone who would like to use them. The July—September issue is now available in the Narthex. There are a limited number of large print editions. Please take them to use and to share.

Spend time in God’s Word every day.

Our mission project for through September is Sole Hope, a ministry that provides shoes for orphans in Uganda. There will be a hands on project for this on August 8. We will be using patterns to cut out the pieces to make shoes, which will be shipped to Africa to be assembled. Right now, we are asking you to start saving cleaned, empty milk jugs and used blue jeans. (When you wash out the milk jugs, please leave the caps off and let them dry.

We don’t need the caps!) Visit solehope.org to learn more about this what this organization is doing.

The Spring 2015 issue of “Concordia Seminary” magazine is available in the Narthex. Please help yourself to a copy!

HELP THANK AND HONOR LOCAL

FIREFIGHTERS Put on your apron, bring your favorite recipe and come help us bake cookies to thank our local firefighters (Sherman, Denison and Grayson County Airport).

To say thanks to those who risk their lives for our communities, Grace is planning a day of baking and fellowship. We need folks to bake, package and deliver cookies to these local fire department stations. ALL AGES ARE WELCOMED!

Mowers are needed! The sign up sheet for July thru September is on the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall! We have the equipment we just need the manpower.

Several of you have already signed up. THANKS! However, there are still lots of opportunities for others to serve. If you would be willing to take a turn, please sign up. If you need more information, contact Pastor.
