Adult Instruction Class The Adult Instruction Class goes over the basic teachings of Christianity. There is an interest for a class. If you would like to be a part of this class, let Pastor know.
Do you need a scholarship? We are now accepting applications for the LevaWhiting Scholarship and the Grace Church Work Scholarship. If you are interested, the church office has the guidelines and applications. Deadline for applying is Sunday, May 13th.
Signs of Lent Like signs we see along the roads that tell us what to do, we see signs along the way on our Lenten journey that show us the way to Christ. In our Maundy Thursday worship, we remember that we are fed and nourished in our faith journey each time we stop to partake of the very body and blood of our Lord and Savior, found in the holy food of Holy Communion’s bread and wine. In our Good Friday worship, we see heaven and earth intersect at the Cross Road of the cross of Christ, where the sinless Son of God takes away the sins of the whole world. In our Easter Sunday worship, we celebrate that the work of our salvation is done through the resurrection of Christ from the dead. But as Jesus told the women at the empty tomb, there is road work ahead. Our job is to go and tell the Good News. During Lent we will be collecting donations for Military Bible Sticks. These are given free of charge to members of the Armed Forces. A sample of a Bible Stick is on display in the Narthex. Family Promise is a Go! Grace will soon be hosting for Family Promise. Please sign up to help with this program that helps show Christ’s love in tangible ways. Please contact Robin Gilbert or Elaine Botka for more information. Sojourners Bible study group will meet on Tuesday April 3rd at 10 am in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome. To all the youth going to Glorybound, you have a workday Saturday at 11:00 am to prepare for the pancake breakfast you will be serving Easter Sunday. Flowers on the Altar today are from Sandra Noth in honor of her Brother Tom’s birthday. Mowers are needed to help keep the grounds around Grace looking nice. The sign up sheet is on the bulletin board by the mailboxes. We have the equipment we just need your help for it to work.
