November 29, The Apple of His Eye Presentation Y’shua, the Light of the World This presentation emphasizes Hanukkah as a minor Jewish holiday with major Biblical implications. The Gospel of John 10:22-33 is the only Bible reference to Hanukkah. Jewish leaders confronted Jesus over His claims to be Messiah. We emphasize that Jesus is not a mere man claiming to be God, but God who chose to become man and dwell among us. He is the light for this dark age. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 7 p.m. Family Promise will discuss how congregations in Grayson County are exploring networking together to provide, on a rotating basis, overnight accommodations and meals for homeless families. The meeting will held at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sherman. Pastor will be attending and would welcome others to attend with him.
