This year's Christmas production will be a dinner theater that will take place on Saturday, Dec 13th at 6pm. There are still so many ways to get involved! We will have a donation board up next week for people to bring items that we will need. There are many parts still available for this production. Most of them are non-speaking roles and great for younger children. We would love for any and everyone to be involved in this wonderful production! Tickets are available now! They are FREE but you must have one to be admitted to the Dinner Theater If you have any questions, please contact Kayla. The Advent season is here! Every Wednesday we will have a meal, activities for children and a worship service. The schedule we be as followed: 6:00—Dinner 6:30—Children’s Activities with Kayla 7:00—Worship Service We are asking that everyone bring a dessert or bread for the meal. Our first meal will be taco soup. If you have any questions please contact Kayla.
If you have not yet turned in a pledge for 2015, you can still do so. Extra pledge cards are available at the welcome center. Put your pledge in the offering or turn it in to the office. Thanks. The new church directory is available on the bulletin board for review. Please check to make sure that your information is correct. Sign up sheets for Counters and Altar flowers during 2015 are now available on the bulletin board in the fellowship hall.
Pastor has received a request to help provide 325 coloring books for children at Fred Douglass Early Childhood Center in Sherman. The books would be a Christmas present to the students. They already have crayons, but need books to go along with them. The books cost $1 each. If you would like to help provide these coloring books for these students, please speak to Pastor.
From now through the end of November we are collecting personal hygiene items for school children in our area. 1 pair of new crew socks 1 toothbrush (individually packaged) 1 travel-size toothpaste 1 travel-size shampoo 1 travel-size body wash/soap Optional items: 1 travel-size deodorant 1 travel-size mouth wash All the items will be put inside the socks and then given to Grand Central Station Dining Car as well as area elementary schools for distribution. We are also collecting non-perishable food items to share with local assistance ministries in Sherman and Denison. Items may be placed in the fellowship hall by the mailboxes. Sunday School offerings this quarter will go towards these two local mission projects. The Annual Voter’s Meeting will be held on December 14 after the late service. The Proposed Budget approved by the council is available at the Welcome Center for those who would like to review it before the meeting.
