Germplasm Health in Preventing Transboundary Spread of Pests and Pathogens Description Webinar 2 will highlight the importance of germplasm health in the prevention of transboundary pest and disease spread, as well as the generation of clean planting material undertaken locally. It will also examine the implications of the introduction of novel pests and diseases through poor germplasm practices for the sustainability of agriculture and food systems, farmers’ livelihood, consumers, and food and nutrition security.
