GLISI Project Manager Overview: GLISI develops world class leaders by providing training and coaching for aspiring leaders and assistant principals, supporting principal growth as strong instructional and organizational leaders, and improving district office leaders as they lead principals and schools. The GLISI Project Manager plans, schedules, and coordinates GLISI’s full suite of educational leadership development and strategic consulting services. The Project Manager provides operational management of all programming aspects, including schedules, budgets, team communication, progress reports, and contract management coordination between GLISI, its partners and subcontractors, and its clientele. Working under the direction of the Chief Program Officer, the Project Manager continually applies best practices for the streamlined improvement of GLISI programming with minimal guidance. This is a highly collaborative role, which will work closely with programming staff as well as internal and external team members. Rationale: GLISI performs high-quality, evidence-based programming to develop world-class leaders that bolster organizational effectiveness and create conditions that lead to increased student achievement. GLISI’s Chief Program Officer requires a responsible, highly capable collaborator to provide end-to-end project management of the leadership development and strategic consulting programming efforts and to ensure that the integrity of these programming efforts and GLISI’s accountability to individual, school, and district clientele remains at the highest level. Key Responsibilities: • Initiate, develop, and implement strategies to provide a consistent and effective project management methodology for GLISI programming efforts • Assess, identify, and deploy a workflow management tool for programming activities • Own and maintain project schedules (tasks/timelines) using web-based project tools (e.g. SmartSheets, BaseCamp, Trello) • Facilitate program and project meetings, such as team status, project planning, and issue resolution, and ensure conclusive results with published minutes including meeting decisions and follow-up action items • Communicate ongoing project information by creating and distributing status reports, dashboards, team to-dos, and milestones • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project staff to request information, manage expectations, close out contracts, and resolve issues • Work with Program staff to produce leadership development program materials including PowerPoint slide decks, print, and online learning technologies

Develop high quality learning resources for clients including participant guides and facilitator guides using Microsoft Word and/or Adobe InDesign Provide administrative/research/reporting support to GLISI leadership as needed Collaborate effectively with programming team and GLISI leadership to accomplish goals and fulfill organizational mission
