ACCESSORIZE This renowned accessories brand utilised a variety of wintry foliage, finished in a mixture of silvers and gold, glittered and shimmering and combined with tree effect props intimating a forrest scene.

Giant snowflakes abound, intricate and layered with frosted window vinyls to create a scene with depth and delicacy.


BANANA REPUBLIC Faceted vac formed panels provide a backdrop with fairy lights to a nimal scene of silhouette shapes and props developed from card, the clean white contrasting with the matt gold background.


BERSHKA Utilising a variety of lighting, the window display combines LED lighting, behind fabric backdrops, along with large star like feature lights.

Unique and eye-catching are two words to describe the decorations on the mannequins here for this brand which aims to stand out from the crowd. The detailng continues down to the finger nails of the mannequins, and adds a sense of fun to the traditional seasonal window schemes.

BURBERRY Giant paper baubles features en-masse from this premimum brand, combined with mirrored surfaces to increase the sense of depth within the window.

DEBENHAMS Working on the theme of a ‘Found It Gift Factory’ this scheme incorporates scenes from the factory, with moving elements and lighting, this continues in store where the mannequins have become factory scientists.

DIESEL A very tongue in cheek scheme, that plays off the use of fur as a wintry material, and is utilised across their offline and online sales outlets.

A simple scheme which incorporates digital display screens with 3D physical props in an effective combination. The backdrop shows snow gently falling, whilst the clean white window props and framed ploystyrene arches define the seasonal scene.

Produced in colaboration with Burberry depicting a ‘very British fairy tale’ telling the story of two children on an adventure in an English country house. The mannequins were supplied and modified by the Global Display team, to ensure the characters fitted into the overall theme of each window and interacted with the props.

Modifications, resprays and wigs were supplied by Global Display to bring the window scenes for this well known London departement store to life.

With a tagline of ‘Winter Hunterland’ this scheme is clearly inspired by a circus/faiground back story and utilises the infamous claw machines to house a range of key products. A fun and impactful window for the holiday season.

The windows are directly linked to the TV advert which in recent years has taken on a life of its own. Here the underground life of the animals which feature in the advert is displayed in a number of playful scenes full of wonderful details, such as a toy train with satnav.

As part of an exclusive partnership with The Royal Ballet, the famous store has themed each of its windows around a different scene from the internationally renowned production, from Drosselmeyer the magician’s magical kingdom to the Nutcracker’s battle with the Mouse King.

NESPRESSO Brands with small products can struggle with large windows often jewellery brands face this challenge. Nespresso whose largest product is a coffee machine, also need to showcase their pods, and the Regent Street windows are both large and open. For this scheme they have created miniature fairground rides, which rotate, or move whilst carrying the product themselves. These windows certainly work in catching the attention of consumers, and reflect the premium offering of the brand and merchandise.


NEW LOOK


NEXT The use of lighting within schemes increases on a yearly basis as the cost of implmentation, especially with LED’s allows for more creative and flexible installations. This modern interpretation of a Christmas window scheme breaks away from previous schemes from this brand which featured foliage and Christmas trees. The strong almost graphical themes set against a strong dark blue backdrop ensure these windows stand out on the high street and most noticeably in shopping malls, where the bright windows can be seen from great distances.


OASIS Resplendent and gushing with flowers and foliage more reminiscent with a spring window than a wintry one, these windows fly in the face of seasonality and in doing so certainly stand out against the competition.

The mannequins utlised in these fun windows were renovated, modified resprayed by the Global Display London workshop.
