Fashion and retail drives our search for the latest trends we have yet to experience, in the stores we have yet to build. The mannequin - a sculpture for the presentation of fabric and fashion - a model onto which a brand can reflect it’s own story. We go in search of a new chapter in this story, a concept that reflects and responds to our dynamic future...

Generations trying to balance the onslaught of unimaginable technology, with threats of climate change and social unrest are retreating to the safety of childhood, questioning authority and rediscovering the very art of discovery itself. Political, economic and social unrest has changed cultural landscapes, and resulted in unprecedented movement of humans across the globe, whilst our stores have begun to reflect warehouses full of statuesque soldier mannequins - monotonous and uninspired. Now we want to break free from our daily challenges, expressing ourselves through the unique and the different, the dramatic and the spectacular. Look at me now!

STIMULATE I N S P I R AT I O N
Inspired by this insight and exploration into future display trends and cultural changes, the vision for a new mannequin is born. Taking inspiration from the dynamism of the human body, the dramatic poses aim to capture those forms in motion whilst maintaining a fashion focused functionality for the ultimate in merchandise presentation. Passion and intrigue drive the pursuit of creative solutions from sketch to solidity exploring, experimenting and discovering ideas that guide us to a new visual chapter.

Exploring positions, movement, proportions and style to discover what defines movement in a 3D form, and the subtleties involved in creating a desirable figure. Working in a new way with digital figures allows for consistent and reactive development of all poses, exploring individual and group relationships. Fluence - a concept inspired by energy, movement and the flow of nature, a confident, courageous collection looking towards a more dynamic fashion future.
