WHERE DOES MY MONEY GO?
As you are fundraising one the biggest questions you might be faced with is "Where does that $5,000 go?" It's a valid question, and one that we want you to be able to answer with full transparency. There is a $5,000 fundraising minimum for all SkillCorps Members. It's not a cost of trip goal, it's an effort to support this work and the ongoing training of our partners. The fundraising supports some of the cost for your trip, of course, but also funds the ongoing training and work year after year with our partners! While SkillCorps is the program you're a member of, our model provides so much more to our partners all over the world, and SkillCorps fundraising makes that possible. Some of the things your fundraising supports are a dedicated Regional Clinical Team, participation in two Summits per year for each partner site, Administrative, Marketing, and Outreach training for partners, and local University Partnerships. Our Regional Clinical Team works with our partners during and between SkillCorps trips ensuring the training is maintained and implemented with fidelity.
The two annual Summits are conferences we host in partner countries-- the Regional Summit brings all partners together in their region to view each others' centers, collaborate, and work together on growing a movement in their part of the world; and our Global Summit is a conference for all of our partners (around 100 people attend) to attend workshops in ABA, marketing, leadership, administrative support, and how to grow and scale their schools! This is just a glance at what your fundraising supports -- and it's so much more than the cost of a trip for one person -- it's part of this movement!
