GLOBALLEIDA is an inter-institutional project resulting from the longing to integrate all the economic promotion activity and projection of the territory of Lleida in one single entity, together with the resources allocated from different institutions. Mission To contribute to the economic, business and territorial development in the whole area of the demarcation of Lleida through the promotion of entrepreneurship and employment, the support for innovation and competitiveness, as well as the promotion of the projection of the territory abroad. Vision To become a reference in the demarcation of Lleida in the field of the promotion of entrepreneurship and employment, the support for innovation and business competitiveness, as well as the projection of the territory abroad in order to contribute to its economic, corporate and territorial development.

GLOBALLEIDA Virtual Platform for Employment (VPE) aims to improve people’s employability in the territory, cooperating and sharing both information and resources.
GLOBALLEIDA organizes short-term professional guidance sessions where key aspects are used in order to find a job and train the professional skills of people in the process of seeking and / or job improvement in the province of Lleida.
This platform allows: . To provide a virtual space where people seeking a job and/or job improvement can manage their career. . To offer a catalogue of employment training courses in different fields, in accordance with the labour market trends and the personal skills of those seeking employment. . To organize specialized workshops for the employment of technical staff and spread news related to the management of talent and employment.

Awards for the best entrepreneurial initiatives: E2 Awards
The E2 program (Entrepreneurship School) aims to promote entrepreneurial culture in the field of education, enhance positive attitudes and arouse interest among students promoting entrepreneurial initiatives, by means of actions and activities directed towards the students and the teaching staff in elementary and secondary schools, A levels, intermediate or high vocational training courses and pre-professional studies.
The E2 Awards (Entrepreneurship School) have the objective of encouraging the presentation of entrepreneurial ideas and practices that help to promote entrepreneurship among students in primary and secondary education, A levels, middle or high education in vocational training and pre-professional studies in the Territory of Lleida. GLOBALLEIDA, in collaboration with the Department of Education of the Generalitat of Catalonia, annually announces a new edition of the E2 Awards (Entrepreneurship School), within the framework of the program “Catalunya, Escola d’Emprenedors” by the Generalitat of Catalonia.
JEP Project – Joves Empresaris de Ponent The JEP program is an initiative aimed at students from different high schools to bring them closer to the world of entrepreneurship. The main aim is to create and manage the students’ own company in the legal terms of a cooperative. Thus, the cooperative created in each classroom establishes business relationships with another cooperative assigned by another autonomous community.

Support in the elaboration of the business plan GLOBALLEIDA puts at the disposal of those entrepreneurs who are preparing their Business Plan an online platform to facilitate their business plan development. In addition, it offers personalized accompaniment by a technician specialized in the creation of companies during the plan development process.

GLOBALLEIDA conducts collaborative agreements with financial entities (both public and private), so that entrepreneurs and businesspeople from Lleida can easily channel their financing demands. Within this framework, the Financing Rounds are periodically established: a participatory forum where financial entities can present their services, and which allows entrepreneurs to know in detail the financial vehicle that best suits their business project so as to have more options to get financing.
GLOBALLEIDA INVERSIONS, SA is an investment fund promoted by GLOBALLEIDA that offers financial and management support - on a temporary basis - to companies with high growth potential and economic links in the province of Lleida. The role of GLOBALLEIDA is to provide flow management to the investment company, by selecting and filtering projects that are in a position to be presented to the Investment Committee of the company.

GLOBALLEIDA promotes the economic development of the province and employment from a global point of view, which allows the strengthening of the competitiveness of companies and agents, especially those belonging to strategic sectors across the territory. In order to do this, a cluster approach is used, segmenting businesses by business or strategic segments. Thus, the clusters and micro clusters that the province of Lleida count on have been established in order to work on the basis of the existing business segments and later identify the common challenges of the companies present in Lleida and therefore carry out initiatives to reinforce their competitiveness.
GLOBALLEIDA promotes a wide range of general actions in order to promote the province of Lleida as a destination for investments, as well as specific actions to identify potential investments that may introduce the Lleida candidature as a location option. In addition, by means of the program WHY LLEIDA, it offers a single point of contact service to investors and international companies, in order to attract foreign investment directly to Lleida.

Dynamization of the territorial network of Business Innovation Centers GLOBALLEIDA supports and boosts a network of 18 innovative business centres spread around the demarcation of Lleida. These centres are a pole of business excellence and a meeting point where innovation is the key factor in competitiveness, the creation of qualified jobs, as well as the diversification of the business networks and local economies are promoted.

Training is the first step in order to promote the people’s professional career.
GLOBALLEIDA wants to generate a co-working culture between institutions and society in order to take advantage of all the resources available and to achieve the maximum impact on the economy and employment in the province of Lleida.
The “EmForma” catalogue offers a wide range of training activities aimed at entrepreneurs, business people or people who want to be updated in the latest business management developments. The training offered ranges different fields such as how to arouse the entrepreneurial spirit and provide entrepreneurship to an idea, the process of drawing up a business plan, financing instruments and tools, company management towards innovation and internationalization, or even practical workshops to work on personal skills. In order to provide value to this training, GLOBALLEIDA has signed an agreement with the University of Lleida that will allow participants to obtain a degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Specialization, once a certain number of hours of study has been accomplished.
Cooperation forms part of GLOBALLEIDA’s DNA, both internally and externally, promoting joint ventures and creating spaces where institutions and private entities can meet and participate.
Communication GLOBALLEIDA is in charge of compiling, developing and spreading information about the economic and business activity of the province of Lleida by means of its website, the media at a local, national and international scope, social networks and printed materials. It also supports and manages information regarding the companies participating in GLOBALLEIDA programs so as to raise awareness and establish and strengthen collaborative relationships with other companies and institutions in the territory.
