STARTER: IF YOU WANT OUR TRAINING,WE WILL TRAVEL Global Platforms Tanzania does travel to any place in the world to deliver variety of trainings for empowerment and activism and tailor-made capacity support for organizations and movements. The three Musketeers George, Prisca and Adrian travelled to Morogoro to carry out Training of Trainers to eighty folk Development Colleges participants. The participant included Principals, teachers and field development officer.
SOCIAL ENTERPRISE BREAKING WAVES
Social Enterprise Kick-Started on May here at the Platform. It centers around sewing and drawing at the same time keeping the environment safe. Two girls Nyemo and Hulda from our partner Jitambue Group Temeke undertook three day training. The product created may be used as Doormat, decoration, logo and just according to customers’ needs. The tools for creating these products are special needles, yarn and reused plastic sacks. The product will be displayed and sold on our facebook page. The social entreprise is supported by Global Platform Tanzania
George went to deliver Human Rights Based Approach youth foundation course in Malawi. Therefore whenever we get a request from a client we will travel to bring these tremendous trainings at your reach.

TUESDAY 4 CHANGE IN RISE This month The Tuesday4change is organizing a three-hour event that cover three sessions, each with amazing, funny and inspiring lessons and they will be presented in different ways, from a role play hosted by a young local government leader, to a very hot presentation given by Ilala municipality mayor, his excellence Jerry Silaa on the theme: “Youth engagement in the local government authorities”, to documentary screenings, Q&A session, open discussion from perspective participants and winded up by networking session. Theme “Youth engagement in the local government authorities” Aim of the Event The overall objective of the event is to prepare youth towards 2014 - Local Government Elections. In particular, underscoring the roles and responsibilities of young people in making their communities better places for a living.
Training Of Trainers (TOT)
ToT finished with the bang where participants were glad not only to attending the training but the overall experience of the training. Karen the trainer said that “We train trainers, by introducing the participants to our methods in facilitation, and our vision of doing it. We highlight Trainers as Social change Agents. She goes on saying on how it is achieved, that It is action based learning which means that whatever theory we introduce, we discuss it and practice. The participants will go through a loop learning - act-reflectapply, which will give them an embodied experience, of what it means to train. Therefore practice and knowledge of this will enable the participants to go train trainers in their own organizations.

SPICES: HIP HOP FOR CHANGE Fareed Kubanda known as FIDQ the Co-founder and mentor Of Hip Hop Darasa, won Kilimanjaro Tanzania Music Award Hip Hop Artists of The year and Hip Hop Writer of the year. Global Platforms Tanzania gave space for Hip Hop Darasa to train the Youth to be

Citizens, We believe in training the World Change The world. Hip Hop Darasa, is a project that is bridging the conscious rap lyrics with the streets through hip hop education to the street kids. The art gives them an opportunity to express themselves, and understand themselves. The life skills lessons that are taught through the hip hop culture reflect Mwalimu Nyerere’s philosophy of “a human being cannot be freed or developed, but to free himself and develop himself” as well as. Class of Hip Hop Darasa is held at Global Platform Tanzania every Saturday.
