an opportunity to sing on the road with Columbia Recording artists, “The Spiral Starecase.” Since I had sung in bands since I was 18, and because it was a life-long dream, I left my hometown to go on the road, with my parents blessing. I ended up traveling for a few years, landing in Houston for a while and then ending up in Phoenix, where I lived and performed until I met my first husband. We married in 1988 and moved to San Diego, where I lived for almost 30 years. I was married twice and because they were highly toxic relationships, I was divorced twice. I gave birth to a beautiful daughter in 1994 and had one very challenging 15 year relationship. I’ve been a pro vocalist for 40 years and had an amazing band in San Diego for many years. In 2007, I lost my home in San Diego to wildfire and then, 2 months later, was diagnosed with breast cancer.
