She graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor of science degree in psychology in 2007, and is employed as the office manager at The Richmond Center in Ames. ALEX HANNA, of Mason City, is the son of Bryan and Gina Hanna, of Mason City. He is a 2003 graduate of Mason City High School, and graduated in 2004 from NIACC. He graduated from ISU with a bachelor of science degree in history in 2007, and will earn his secondary social studies teaching license in spring of 2009.

He is employed by Iowa State University in Ames. The couple will be married at 3 p.m. July 25, 2009, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City, Iowa.

Pastor Betsy Bueschel, a friend of the family, officiated the service. The couple and their guests enjoyed a beautiful fall evening on Lake Michigan shoreline. RaeLea is the daughter of Billy and Janeil Olson, Garner, and granddaughter of Arno and Alma Olson of Ventura. John is the son of Paul (Kathy) Saxton, Barrington, Ill., and Kathy (Rick) Fox, Winnetka, Ill., and grandson of May Pinktaff. The bride’s matron of honor was her sister Tracy Seng, San Ramon, Calif. Other attendants were Olivia Vetesi and Phaedra Starr, friends of the couple. Best man was the groom’s brother, Mike Saxton. The groom’s other attendants were Chris Advincula and Charley Hoppe, friends of the groom. The ushers were brothers of the bride, Dave and Rusty Olson. Personal attendant was the bride’s future sister-in-law Jennifer Farwell. Photography was by Nima Nouri, a close friend of the bride and groom. RaeLea is a graduate of Garner-Hayfield High School and San Francisco State University. John is a graduate of New Trien High School and University of Redland. Following a two-week honeymoon to Italy, the couple will make their home in Oakland, Calif. Kennedy inducted into honor society AMES — Ryan Kennedy, a student at Iowa State University, was recently inducted into the Order of Omega, national Greek honor society. The order of Omega is an honor society comprised of the top 1 percent of Greek students from across North America, recognizing outstanding campus leadership, academics, and community service. Kennedy, a junior at ISU, majoring in accounting, English, and philosophy, is currently finishing his term as president of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He was also inducted into Iowa State University’s Cardinal Key and Mortar Board senior honor societies. Kennedy currently serves as director of academic affairs for the Government of the Student Body. He is the son of Dan and Linda Kennedy, Mason City.
