THANK YOU Thank you Thank you to all the Mason City and area volunteers who spent Christmas Day helping with the Ecumenical Christmas Dinner. By working together Christmas was perhaps brighter and happier for those who otherwise might have been alone. An excellent meal was prepared and served to approximately 400 guests and shutins. This would not have been possible without the assistance of those who purchased food, provided cakes and pies, prepared and served food, furnished transportation for meals and guests, or assisted in cleaning. Thank you to all the helpers who exhibited the true spirit of Christmas.

A special thank you to Steve Metz and Ken Webber of NIACC for helping prepare the meal, Armour Eckrich for donating ham, HyVee Stores for collecting donations and providing advertisement, Marshall and Swift for providing table linens, the Globe Gazette and other media for promoting the event, and the Community Kitchen for assisting with the meal service. It was a privilege for Trinity Lutheran Church to host this special event for the Ministerial Association. We wish each of you a blessed and happy New Year. — Dave and Pat Guetzko, Mark and Jan Feustel, Ecumenical Christmas Dinner Co-chairs, Trinity Lutheran Church
