FOREST CITY — Dick and Shirl (Grimm) Frank of Forest City were married May 31, 1969, in Osage. The couple will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday, May 31, 2009. Dick and Shirl’s children are Cari Lillquist (Steve) of Forest City and Christa Frank of New Hampton. They also have two grandchildren.

DAVIE, Fla. — Amber Leigh Wedmore and James Robert Wilson were united in marriage on Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Davie, Fla., by Father Edmond Prendergast. Amber is the daughter of Marsha Wedmore and the late Terry Wedmore of Rockwell. James is the son of John and Colleen Wilson of Youngstown, Ohio. Matron of honor was Abbey Pitzenberger. Amber’s other attendants were Madison Adams, Kimberley Brehm, Sara Ford, Jennifer Kudelka and Jessica Luebbert. Best man was Joseph Wilson. James’ other attendants were Bill Canning, Matt Diana, Dan Ford, Ryan McNicholas, Ben Pitzenberger, Justin Steele, Rich Tynal and Adam Wedmore. Flower girls were Allison and Caitlin Pitzenberger. A reception was held at Crowne Plaza Hotel, hosted by Gary and Mary Ellen Haugen, Robert and Karen Wilson, and Chad Melrose and Amy Adams. Amber is employed by HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Sunrise, Fla. James is employed by Ticketmaster in Miami. Following a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple resides in Weston, Fla.

AMBER KLOUSE, of Ankeny, is the daughter of Curt and Nan Klouse of Mason City. She is a 2002 graduate of Newman Catholic High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Iowa’s College of Nursing. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in nursing administration through the University of Iowa. Amber is employed with Visiting Nurse Services/Drake Head Start in Des Moines. ADAM ROGERS, of Ankeny, is the son of Joe and Deb Rogers of St. Ansgar, formerly of Rudd. Adam is a 2001 graduate of Rudd Rockford Marble Rock High School. He graduated in 2005 from Iowa State University with a degree in marketing/logistics and supply chain management. Adam is employed with Pioneer Hi-Bred as a supply chain management assistant in Johnston. The couple will be married July 25, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mason City.
