Thank you If I was to nominate someone for “doing your best” or “paying it forward” for July 16th, I would have to nominate Jim Redeker, “The Gutter Guy.” My husband Gary and I were having our morning coffee when the “Gutter Guy” pulled up in front of our house. We didn’t think much about it until we saw him bringing his ladder up to our house. Thinking he had the wrong house, Gary asked him what he was doing. He said “I’m covering your gutters for you so you don’t have to get up on a ladder and clean out the gutters anymore.” So to make a long story short, Gary has always recommended Jim to others needing gutters as he is dependable, good at what he does and very reasonable. Jim heard Gary has been battling cancer and can’t do what he used to do, took it upon himself at no charge to make Gary’s life a little easier and safer. Thanks Jim. Words alone cannot express our heartfelt thanks. — Dorothy and Gary Hepperly
