Snook, 50 years NASHUA — Blake Cole, age 12, of Nashua, was honored at the I-35 Speedway Race banquet. He was awarded the point championship for the 2009 Novice Hornet Class. Each week he competed against other drivers aged 12 to 64 for the points. This was Blake’s first year of racing and he received 17 first-place trophies. For the championship, he was awarded a jacket, trophy, banner and cash for perfect attendance. He also competed at Highway 3 Raceway at Allison, Hancock County Speedway at Britt and Fairmont Raceway at Fairmont, Minn. A special thanks to all his great fans!
