Witham named ‘Student of Month’

Pritchard, Schlee John and Angela Pritchard, of Mason City, and Bill and Karla Schlee, of Postville, are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Nicole Pritchard and Jordan Schlee.

Nicole, of Grimes, is a 2001 graduate of Newman Catholic High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Iowa with a B.S.N. in nursing. She is employed at Methodist West Hospital in West Des Moines as a recovery room nurse.

Jordan, of Grimes, is a 2001 graduate of Postville High School, a 2003 graduate of Kirkwood Community College with a degree in turf management, and a 2009 graduate of Upper Iowa University with a bachelor’s degree in business. He is employed at Barton Solvents, Inc., in Des Moines.

The couple will be married on May 8, 2010, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mason City.

MASON CITY — Alex Witham, of Mason City, was selected as the Mason City Sunrise Rotary Club “Student of the Month” for November.

He is the son of Tom and Deirdre Witham.

Witham currently attends Witham Mason City Alternative High School.

He holds a perfect attendance record for the year, and was awarded Advisor Student of the Quarter. He is involved in community and church activities including volunteer work at Community Kitchen and Roosevelt Elementary.

He has been employed with Taco Tico for twoand a-half years.

After graduation, Witham would like to establish an automotive car restoration business.

Ranae is the daughter of Ross and Ann Grafft of Osage. Grant is the son of Jeffrey and Annette Norland of Coralville, Iowa.

He weighed 7 lbs., 14 oz., and was 20 inches long.

He is welcomed by grandparents, Rick and Cheryl Moorehead, of Ventura; Gary and Sally Eichmeier, of Clear Lake, and Chris and Tracey Deckard, of Indianola.

Great-grandparents are Opal Bram, of Clear Lake; Jerry and Iris Deckard, of Clear Lake, and Mike and Delores Moorehead, of Mason City.
