In Loving Memory of Brenda F. Buck There are so many people I need to thank for their part in making the dream of the “Angel Tree” a reality. First and foremost, I would like to thank God for not only granting us with a beautiful day on Saturday, June 19, but for also directing all the right people into our path to make “all of this” possible! Thank you Pat Doyle for creating such a beautiful “Angel” in our backyard. God sure blessed you with an amazing gift. I’m so fortunate that you were able to share your talent with my family and friends. Thanks to Dave Clapper/Clapper Tree Service, my mom, Marilyn Cooper, my boyfriend, Scot Wilson, my nephew, Brody Buck, Brad Church and his son, Scott, our neighbor, Tom, Ray Curtis, all the people that came and bought something at our garage sale in May (the proceeds went towards the “Angel Tree”). To everyone (you know who you are) that made a profit off the garage sale in May which was then donated back to me. Thanks to all of you! An extra $185.00 went towards the “Angel Tree.” Thanks to Laura Bird and Bryon Houlgrave from the Globe Gazette for the nice article that was published in the paper on June 22. I know Brenda would be very proud and I know she’s looking down and smiling. On Saturday, June 26, we celebrated the completion of the “Angel Tree” with a backyard BBQ party that I won. Special thanks to 98.7 KISS Country/J. Brooks, Hy-Vee East, Consolidated Energy and Lake Fireplace and Spa for sponsoring this event. God bless all of you. — Annette “Net” “Nettie” Cooper
