MASON CITY — Emily Weaver and Paul Adams were united in marriage on July 17, 2010, at First Baptist Church, Mason City, Iowa, by the Rev. Ron Stein. Emily is the daughter of Ed and Karen Ries of Mason City. She is the granddaughter of Doris Drury of Mason City. Paul is the son of Mike and Sue Adams of Rockwell. He is the grandson of Bill and Virginia Ames of Rockwell. Maid of Honor was Audrey Ries, and Matron of Honor was Abby Fitzgerald. Emily’s other attendants were Amy Schmitt, Kim Griffith, Jill Menning, and Emily Silberstein. Emily’s personal attendants were Lisa Traub and Kelly Littleton. Best man was Nate Adams. Paul’s other attendants were Jeremy Fitzgerald, Dave Laudner, Collin Sheriff, Dusty Brown, and Scott Hansen. Flower girl was Callan Fitzgerald. Ring bearer was Graydon Fitzgerald. Soloist was Courtney Levenhagen, and the ceremony was orchestrated by a string quartet. A reception was held at Holiday Inn, Mason City, Iowa, and was hosted by Doug and Sherry Drury and Peter and Pam Haukoos. Emily is a graduate of Mason City High School and The University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences. She is employed by Mayo Clinic in Owatonna, Minn. Paul is a graduate of Rockwell High School, North Iowa Area Community College and attended the University of Iowa for political science. He is employed by HyVee in Owatonna, Minn. The couple will honeymoon in Riviera Nyarit, Mexico, and reside in Owatonna, Minn.
