The future bridegroom, son of Dan and Jan Moretz of Hanlontown, graduated in 2004 from North Central High School and in 2008 achieved a bachelors degree in business management from the University of Northern Iowa. He is employed as a global configuration analyst with John Deere in Waterloo.

A July 9 wedding at Hope United Church of Christ in Hiawatha, Iowa, is planned.

KENSETT — Jenna Hanson and Chad Hart were united in marriage on Sept. 4, 2010, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kensett, Iowa, by Pastor Tom Martin.

Jenna is the daughter of Mike and Teresa Hanson of Kensett. Chad’s parents are Dennis and Robin Hart of Mason City.

Maid of honor was Nicole Sanderson. Jenna’s other attendants were Chelsia Hart, April Blackbourn, Callie Carlson, Heather Wilson and Tabitha Huff.

WAUKEE — Alissa Marie Dupuy and Michael Charles Spratt were united in marriage on Oct. 3, 2009, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waukee, Iowa, by Pastor Curt M. Joseph.

Alissa is the daughter of Dick and Sandy Dupuy of Earlham. She is the granddaughter of Mary Wills of Des Moines.

Michael’s parents are Karen Spratt and the late Charlie Spratt of Clear Lake.

Maid of honor was Dawn Erickson, friend of the bride.

Her other attendants were Megan Goebel, friend of the bride; Jessica Dupuy and Tera Dupuy, sisters-in-law of the bride.

Seltun, Clark LEAH SELTUN, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, is the daughter of Les and JoAnn Seltun of Mason City. Leah received a B.A. in communicative disorders with a minor in Spanish at the University of Northern Iowa and is currently attending graduate school at the University of Northern Iowa to receive an M.A. in speech languagepathology.

TJ CLARK, of Iowa City, is the son of Dan and Vicki Clark, of Plymouth, Iowa.

TJ received a B.A. in biochemistry with a minor in Spanish at Iowa State University, and is currently attending medical school at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine.

The couple will be married at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Prairie Lakes Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

After many good years of service at Kraft Foods, Elvis (Mike Staudt) has finally left the building!

However, there was rumor of a sighting in Myrtle, Minn.

WAYNE, Neb. — Sheri Kenyon, of Whittemore, Iowa, was named to the 2010 fall semester Dean’s List at Wayne State College.

Students named to the list are full-time undergraduate students who have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or above, on a 4.0 scale for the semester.
