DAY TO REMEMBER Tumilson memorial August 6, 2011, was the day we were notified, That our son Jon Thomas Tumilson, hit by an RPG in a Chinook, had died Going to help others, our freedoms to protect, Serving our country for 16 years, telling us you were merely a soldier doing his job, but now all Americans are in your debt. You didn’t talk about your job, but let us know you love being a SEAL, even though you insisted you weren’t a big deal. We miss you greatly, oh how our hearts ache, But occasionally a memory sneaks through, makes us smile or cry and do a double take. We were so proud of you son and loved you so much. We miss your surprises, your smile, big hugs and your humorous touch. Happy 3rd heavenly birthday Jon, rest easy. Long live the brotherhood!!!
