Rick Miller to retire from Department of Transportation Rick Miller will retire at the end of March, after working for the Department of Transportation for the past 27 years. Rick loved his job and was always ready and prepared to answer the call when needed, day or night. He spent many hours either cleaning debris during the summer months or removing the snow in the winter. During the last few months Rick has given much thought to what he would do after retirement. His wife has also had her thoughts as to what he will do after he retires. No matter what, Rick will have no trouble filling his days with things to do. Rick looks forward to time with his children and grandchildren. He will enjoy fishing, hunting and visiting his son’s cabin with family and friends in Wisconsin. Rick will miss his work but feels the time is right to retire. He has made many friends during his time with the D.O.T. and hopes to continue their friendships after retirement. — From Ann Miller and his family.
