THANK YOU

The family of Vernice Klesath would like to thank those in the Mason City Community for their outpouring of love and support on the loss of our mother this past December. Each hug, beautiful card, words of comfort or lovely shared memory was a cherished gift for our family and sincerely appreciated. Your generosity to our Mother’s memorial was overwhelming and it gave us great joy to be able to make several contributions to organizations that were very important to our Mom. Our family was recently able to make a number of equipment donations to the Mason City Athletic Department. Our Mother loved greeting everyone from her ticket booth at the various athletic events and we are thrilled that those that follow in her footsteps can

enjoy comfortable new chairs, new uniforms, air conditioning at the ball field as well as new equipment to complete their jobs. Go Mohawks! Our Mother had a strong passion for children and wanted them to have the opportunity to enjoy life experiences no matter of their circumstance. Monetary contributions were made to Best Buddies and the Special Olympics with the Mason City School District as well as to Camp Tanglefoot with the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa. All of these organizations ensure each child gets the joy of friendship and inclusion. A monetary donation was also made to the Good Shepherd’s Telephone Reassurance program in gratitude of their service and care for our Mother in the last year. We made every attempt to send a personal thank you to everyone for their kindness, but we encountered challenges with locating addresses (or correct ones) and know we may have inadvertently missed someone as we coordinated responses. Please know your kindness and generosity was sincerely appreciated and our family has the deepest gratitude for your love and friendship of our Mother. She felt blessed and so do we! Thank you! The Vernice Klesath Family
