HAMPTON — Don and Beth (Heifner) Fink were married on June 26, 1965, in Clear Lake, Iowa. They have resided on their farm in Hampton for the past 50 years. Their three children are Kristy (Matt) Abbas of Alexander, Jolie (Lee) Crawford of Sigourney, and Jason (Becky) Fink of Hampton, along with five grandchildren, Drew Abbas, Tyler and Levi Crawford, and Abby and Eli Fink. Brittany Norton of Bentonville, Arkansas, is the daughter of Karen Norton and Saron Sutton of Rudd, Iowa, and Keith Norton of Des Moines, Iowa. Brittany graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2007 with a degree in Interior Design and is employed as a Contract Administration Manager with WalMart in Bentonville, Arkansas. Greg Stellmon of Bentonville, Arkansas, is the son of Mike and Marsha Stellmon of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Greg graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2007 with a degree in Architecture and is employed as a Building Design Manager for Walmart in Bentonville, Arkansas. The couple will be married on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, at Cooper Chapel in Bella Vista, Arkansas.

AWARD & ACHIEVEMENT 2015 U of I College of Dentistry White Coat Ceremony IOWA CITY — The following University of Iowa students from the North Iowa area, recently participated in the U of I College of Dentistry White Coat ceremony. The White Coat ceremony honors first-year dental students as they move into the second year that involves their first patient experiences. The dental students were ceremonially cloaked with their first white laboratory coats and in the presence of family, friends and faculty, the students recited the Oath of a Dentist. Iowa. Melodee maintains a private piano studio and is a church musician in Clear Lake, Iowa; Ernest is the vocal/general music teacher at Lincoln Intermediate School in Mason City, Iowa. They have two daughters. Kirsten is a sophomore instrumental music education major at Iowa State University in Ames, and Kara is a freshman at Clear Lake High School in Clear Lake.

Reed, 60 years CLEAR LAKE — Don and JoAnn Reed, Clear Lake, Iowa, will celebrate their 60th anniversary on June 24, 2015. They were married at the First Lutheran Church, Omaha, Nebraska. FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Richard Hanson and Juanita Kleen Hanson of Fort Collins, Colorado, were married June 26, 1965. The couple will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 26, 2015. Rich was an elementary principal in Clear Lake, and Juanita taught at NIACC for 19 years before retiring to Fort Collins, Colorado, in 2003. They will be celebrating their anniversary surrounded by their children, their spouses, and grandchildren during a weeklong vacation near the Twin Cities, Minnesota. The couple’s children and their spouses are Doug and Margo Hanson from Lino Lakes, Minnesota, and Debbie and Hayden Camp of Fort Collins, Colorado. They have seven grandchildren. Trusting in Christ alone for eternal life, they give Him the praise and thanks for God’s gift and the many blessings He has given them.

Christopher is a U.S. Naval Academy undergrad; has a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, and is employed as a pilot with the U.S. Navy in San Diego, California. The couple will be married on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mason City, Iowa. They will be relocating to Newport, Rhode Island, following their wedding.

Mark Theodore Lee, DO, received the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Degree from Kansas City University-College of Osteopathic Medicine in commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 9, in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Lee graduated with Summa Cum Laude Honors and was inducted into the Psi Sigma Alpha National Scholastic Honors Society. He is the son of Dr. Phillip and Jane Lee of Mason City, Iowa. He is a graduate of Mason City High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry with Cum Laude Honors from Saint Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. Dr. Lee will complete his medical residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

John Phillip Lee, DO, received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine during commencement ceremonies May 16, in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Lee graduated 2nd in his medical school class with Highest Honors and received the Excellence in Clinical Years: Specialty Medicine of Pathology Award. He is the son of Dr. Phillip and Jane Lee of Mason City, Iowa. He is a graduate of Mason City High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry with Honors from South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota. Dr. Lee will complete his medical residency training in Pathology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.
