The Festival Concert will be presented to the public at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, in Hilton Coliseum, Iowa State University, Ames. Tickets are $18 each and all seats are reserved. There are two methods tickets may be obtained for the Iowa AllState Festival Concert: Method 1 — Iowa State Athletic Ticket Office, located on the west side of the Jacobson Athletic Building in Ames. The ticket office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is a $5 per ticket handling fee. Henrich shares research experiences INDIANOLA — Stephen Henrich, of Mason City, a senior at Simpson College, was selected to share how his undergraduate research experiences helped guide and shape his future plans, at the annual Presidents’ Society Dinner, held Oct. 20. Henrich was one of four students, along with Professor Clint Meyer, who addressed the group about how the unique opportunities to do this kind of research at Simpson, prepared him for his future. With a double major in biochemistry and mathematics, Henrich shared how it was possible to use a branch of mathematics to test different regimes for certain insect populations. Henrich plans to enter a MD/Ph.D program after graduation.
