The bride wore a diamond white, one-shoulder gown with elaborate floral accents and an exquisite lace overlay. The music selection was “You Raise Me Up,” with soloist Mark Hanson. A reception was held at Diamond Jo Casino Event Center in Northwood. Haley graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, and is employed as a teacher by the Fort Dodge Community School District, Fort Dodge, Iowa. Billy graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, and is manager at US Cellular of Fort Dodge, Iowa. The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas, Nev. They will reside in Fort Dodge.

Thompson, Lauritson AMANDA THOMPSON, of Mason City, is the daughter of Christi Thompson of Hanlontown and Henry Thompson of Emmons, Minn. She is the granddaughter of Hillard and Ruth Thompson of Emmons, Minn., and Beverly Smithe of Lake Mills, Iowa. She is a 2004 graduate of Forest City High School and a 2008 graduate of Waldorf College. Amanda is employed with NIVC Services in Mason City. ROBERT LAURITSON, of Mason City, is the son of Dan and Bridget Lauritson of Mason City. He is a 2004 graduate of Mason City

High School. Robert is the owner/operator of Rite Way Lawn Service and employed by Fareway in Mason City. The couple will be married at 4 p.m. on Sept. 10, 2011, at the Church of Christ in Fertile, Iowa.

Congratulations to the 7U Mason City Redhawks on their great season. They played in five tournaments and ended the season with a record of 20-2 and were ranked second in the Nation in USSSA Power Rankings.
