Scouting events enable a Scout to develop all facets of their character and challenges them to achieve goals. Scout Leaders that had a great impact on his life include: Brad Emerson, Bill Bredlow and assistant leaders Neal Pals, Mike Baldridge, Vern Ellefson and Roger Hall. In 2007, Tyler had the honor to attend the 21st World Scout Jamboree held in Chelmsford, England, for the 100-year anniversary of scouting. They were there to see how scouting creates a better world providing challenge and adventure to scouts and leaders, and the diversity of the scouting program worldwide. In the summer of 2009, he went to the Bahamas for Sea Base Adventure. In July 2010, Tyler attended the 2010 National Boy Scouts Jamboree, commemorating 100 years of boy scouting in the USA. The jamboree was held at Camp William B. Snyder, in the Washington D.C. area, 75 miles outside of Fort A.P. Hill, Va. Tyler would like to express his appreciation and thanks to all the people that helped him on his scout journey through the years, and helped him achieve the Eagle Scout Award.
