The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Tammy Swanson-Draheim. The message was given by Pastors Craig and Mary Pinley. Molly is the daughter of James and Ellen FitzPatrick of Mason City. Tyler’s parents are Michael and Diana Lage of Sheffied and the late Marne Lewerke, Garner, Iowa. Maids of honor were Kelly FitzPatrick and Katie FitzPatrick, sisters of the bride. Molly’s other attendants were Holly Meyer, Elle Sandquist, and Jenni Husby. Best man was Brandon Lage, brother of the groom. Tyler’s other attendants were Dan Nicholas, Isaac Ingersoll, Josh Schuchmann, and Michael Draheim. The flower girl was Ellie Pinley. The ring bearer was Percy Browning. Ushers were Timothy Prikkel and Seth Johnson. The bride’s personal attendant was Rachel Busch. A reception was held at The Music Man Square, hosted by Mark and JoAnn Lewerke, Mark and Pam Lage, and Bill and Barb Bowen. Molly graduated from Northpark University, Chicago, Ill. Molly is the After School and Mentoring Programs Supervisor at Youth and Shelter Services of Ames, Iowa. Tyler is a student in the College of Engineering at Iowa State University, Ames, and will graduate in December. The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico. They will reside in Ames, Iowa.

Faye graduated from Iowa State University, Ames, with degrees in advertising and fine arts. She is a graphic designer for Gannett in Des Moines. Dan graduated from Iowa State University, Ames, with a degree in marketing. He is employed by Des Moines Imports in Des Moines. The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and are at home in Des Moines.

Sukup, of Sheffield, will receive the Anson Marston Medal, from the College of Engineering during Iowa State University’s annual homecoming celebration, this month. The Anson Marston Medal was established in 1938 in recognition of outstanding achievement in advancing engineering science, technology, or policy having national and international impact in academics, industry, public service, government or other venues. Sukup is president of Sukup Manufacturing Co., a family-owned and operated manufacturer of grain storage, drying and handling equipment in Sheffield. The company donated homes transformed from grain bins to the Haiti Relief Fund and new wells to Uganda through the Iowa State Center for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods. Sukup will be honored at the 80th annual Honors and Awards ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Benton Auditorium, Scheman Building, on the ISU campus. The public is welcome to attend.

AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS Bahls, Crane named ‘Students of Month’ MASON CITY — Julia Bahls and Chase Crane, seniors at Mason City High School, have been selected as the Mason City Noon Rotary Club’s “Students of the Month” for September. Bahls is the daughter of Ken and Megan Bahls. Crane is the daughter of Rus and Kelley Crane. Bahls is a flute and piccolo player in the Mason City High School Symphonic Band, a member of the MCHS swim team and track team, participates in Art Club, and plays the piano. Her awards and honors include: Varsity letters in track and band, Honor Roll, National Honor Society, All-Academic recognition in cross-country, track and swimming, CIML art awards, Iowa Music Teacher’s Association winner for piano performance, North Central Iowa Bandmaster’s Association Honor Band participant in flute. Her community activities include attending Grace Evangelical Free Church where she is a member of the high school youth group and a volunteer with the junior high youth group. She has been a member of the light crew for both church play performances and Mason City High School Follies performances. Bahls plans to attend Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minn., to pursue a degree in art animation with a goal of working for Pixar Animation. Crane is a member of the National Honor Society and YIELD and carries a 4.0 grade point average. Crane has been active in concert choir and varsity show choir. She is a varsity letter winner in cross
